QUOTE(RoxyMunky @ Jan 10 2014, 12:46 PM) common sense, now is already 10Jan2014... your friend is getting a year 2014 car next week... then, quite some customers abort/postpone their year end car purchase due to Malaysian mindset that year registered affected the resale value. this further leads to high inventory in UMW. Hence, i think its quite impossible to have year 2014 car for your friend. I'm not trying to condemn your friend but just analyzing this from business point of view. any tyre brands recommend for profile 195/60 R15 ?

QUOTE(lung85 @ Jan 15 2014, 12:29 AM) my 2nd gen vios 1 year old, also got klik klik sound at left front door, after serval fix they told me is frm dashboard, after fix no tis sound. now is my window if i auto press close but it close and open half. seems like the windows support rubber gt a bit bent, i told the SC and they juz reset the windows board, problem stil same unitl now. last month raining heavy, the road is flooded a bit, i think only lower half than the rim, i overtake a car and heard a knock sound. like hitting a brunches or rock. when reach home my rear bumper drop a bit, the holder part broken. so lauya one, i fix back myself but most of the part is broken, but not very serious. really disappointed with vios. Is it the driver's side window? I used to face the exact same problem, initially I thought it was the power window switch problem so i sent it to service center and was expecting for a replacement. After they are done, they told me they just applied some oil to lubricate it, that's all. So far still ok. Perhaps you can ask the service center to try the same way. QUOTE(brothercheong @ May 24 2014, 11:58 PM) Both pictures are front wheel brakes, the j front disc brake looks much smaller than G and TRD models, isit? Maybe the disc brakes are same size for all specs, it looks smaller in J spec could be due to the smaller rim that J spec has? anyone can confirm this?

QUOTE(RoxyMunky @ May 30 2014, 01:30 PM) just back from Honda showroom... im impressed with the Honda City dashboard build quality... even the low spec E+ looks much nicer than our Vios E or J dashboard. The standard HU have call function, and USB port at the bottom of centre console... bloody premium feel. Vios is really an overpriced junk. agreed...try to knock the dashboard of Honda City with your fingers, the feel is just solid....and if we try to knock on Vios's dashboard, the feel is like cheap hollow plastic....disappointed with Toyota.. maybe because all these years they are leading the sales in the market (non-national car segment) so they don't bother to improve on these (they thought that they can continue to dominate the market) while all the other competitor brands already doing that, not only Honda City, other Korean cars also have very good interior built nowadays.
