I'm really torn apart. Alot of people have been telling me to get G. My own brother also ask me to get G. But I do not fancy the auto start button (can I know how reliable it is?) and the leather seat (very hot when exposed under sun). But I do like the 4 disc brakes and the better quality front windshield.
Just put on some quality tints and you will be fine.
I'm driving the trd but I don't feel any heat on my seats even when I park under the burning sun.
Anyways, anyone felt that the rear boot shakes like mad when you open?
I'm wondering if it's because of me blasting my woofers too much till it became loosen or something but even when I'm not blasting and just opening the boot, it shakes alot.
personally , i'm a manual mania.... but when come to reality , i found the resale value of manual compared to auto is much more lower and for manual is just only "j" spec to choose with ><
any idea wat is the FC for manual and auto ?....if different not so big , i tink i need to sacrifice my hobby and toward to auto....
and for the manual spec , is it the 3rd gen vios using the same gearbox with 1st & 2nd gen ?....
Yeah. That's what saddens me too. I was thinking about getting a manual too actually. But too bad J spec just doesn't seems to worth it. Maybe you could get a J and mod it with bodykits or something.
I felt that also..just hope that it will not deteriorate in longer time
Hope so too. lol

Yeap, i need to pull a bit harder in order not to move a bit. On top of that, it is LOUD!.. TRRAAAAKKKKKKK! damn
The sound. Oh man. Since I tend to park at hills or slope most of the time, I need to pull it really hard else it just feels like it's gonna come off or something.
Good day, Swapped my 2 year + old g-limited with the new trd. Love the new looks and the quieter cabin. Still monitoring now on the issues mentioned. Overall glad to have a new car again!
Hmm, just for sharing. I sent my car last Monday for 10k servicing plus complain on the tuk tuk sound after engine mounting replaced. They instructed their technicians to check on the lower arm. They said they ordered new lower arm for replacement, but at the mean time they applied something to it.
It has been about 9 days and the sound seems to disappear till now. This may be a workaround but from what I've experienced in the other sc, they applied something as well but that lasted only up to 2 days.
guys. question. when you put your phone together with the key, do you feel that it's kind of hard to press the button on the door for it to unlock? Alot of times d I kena... is it just mine or?
I was kinda annoyed that it comes with no buzzer as well. I have bad memory. I always forget where I park. Hahaha
Anyway, Autolock feature is not readily available on new cars nowadays. ECE regulation. Unless if the car has BCM impact sensing which allows auto door unlock on impact. This is put in place so that it does not delay the rescuers' attempt to help when your car turtles or something. =]
same same. lol.
Btw, changing the alarm will void which part of the car's warranty?

new problem..
parking at my own garage..
pull one click handbrake no ngek ngek sound from rear
pull handbrake 2 clicks ... if i go out from the car sometime at night(very silent) can hear ngek ngek from rear ...suspect absorber? or handbrake not tighten enough?
pull 3 clicks... same ngek ngek sound happens... sometime when i try purposely goyang my car from rear.. ngek ngek sound also will occur..
but if i release handbrake completely the ngek ngek sound will not come out.... and if i do one click pull on my handbrake also no ngen ngek sound...
weird?
roxymunky ur car experience this problem?
and if i tinted my car window not-so-dark.. sometime when the sun gets in... i cant see my meter rpm, fuel reading , etc.. clearly.. like got reflection.
Yup. Facing this issue as well when I'm parking at a slope.
Too lazy to bother about it.
Maybe will ask the SC to check on it when I'm sending it for other service.
I think can be solved by going to the accessories shop and ask them to tune the sensitivity abit.
Not sure if OEM alarm can do so but last time my car with after markets alarm can.
Funny thing is one of my friend who bought the new vios recently is having this issue and he called me and asked about it. So I assume all new Vios have this issue.
