Not to say very frequent but I tend to drive around 120-140 average on the highway. (biasa d)  tongue.gif  tongue.gif
Maybe I should try a couple of times more to confirm on this.
I've did 180. Possible to go higher but didn't do so. Old liao don't dare to drive so fast d.  tongue.gif  tongue.gif
Agreed. EPS is too light. Can barely feel the control for the car. Maybe that's the reason I'm not used to it yet.
My friend's Myvi didn't go on track. Like to go uphill only. (Genting)
Agreed on the cornering wise between NA and Turbo. Acceleration wise after the corner will surely lose to Turbo since well.. it's a turbo afterall.  tongue.gif  tongue.gif

That's quite a number of modification you've did on your Vios. May I ask how much did you spend on it?

Btw, anyone interested to fit on a Turbo for the new vios?  thumbup.gif  thumbup.gif

Why u wanna install a front strut in the first place?

Personally, I would got for ARB, and front lower 4 point bar. It stiffens the body roll and gives u better stability at corners.

Of course, this is just my opinion and personal preference.

As for my current Vios. I won't give it a damn anymore.  Looking to change it in shortest possible time frame.
*
Yea totally agree.. Front strurt bar for me is nothing.. Maybe im not a hardcore driver so i cant notice it usage.. Maybe jz for deco only.. Rear ARB + front lower arm 4points is a MUST for hard corner whacker and highway maniac.. Other like room bar, rear lower arm bar, side bar, middle lower bar, rear boot bar, rear upper bar only help to harden ur chasis.. U wont feel much different but will make ur car become more bumpy feel.. Sharp corner whacker can try fender bar.. It reli help smile.gif

** The latest 3rd gen vios come with rear ARB smile.gif

Dunno much about bars lol. so ARB should be the first choice in improving overall handling?
*
Rear Arb very useful for cornering.. It help ur car rear to counter oversteer so ur rear wont swing out.. More thick more soild feel.. But for normal suspension setting ride, too hard an arb also not so good.. It cant work properly compare those thinner arb

FYI,different car chasis need different thick rear arb.. All depend on ur chasis/suspension setting too

Ok,my kitty myvi experince is like this.. After changed to bigger shoes 17".. Handling reli improved.. Corner is suck!! So i got a set of tein lowered springs.. Wow,awesome cornering i did.. Day by day passed, feel turn back to like previously on oem springs.. So,i got my customade hi-lo-soft-hard adjustable.. Now,i attacked corner even greater than before.. Car got harden.. Stability slighly increased man!! When i used to it.. My car start encounter oversteer.. Damn.. Here was how my UR rear ARB 18mm (new version-the most thick for myvi.. Old version most thick was 19mm).. Too thick for a kitty ride so manufacture redesigned the arb thickness..

My oversteer problem gone.. But 1problem came with another ==! Wtfish!! Rear gotten stiffer but now car front encounter understeer.. Then is mean i went thru corner even faster?? With no think i got a front lower arm 4points.. Finally the problem solved.. I never face any undesteer/oversteer smile.gif till my car sold

Too make a sharper corner, i got the side fender bars.. It helped smile.gif for a K-car known as a hatch-back car, rear upper bar which installed above the rear seats reli made u feel the rear part become solid.. For my case,Highway and corner can notice the different..

Oh. Got it.
So add front or rear first? for starters.
*
If u a cornering lover.. Yes front lower arm 4points and rear arb is a must smile.gif but dont make ur car too low.. Ur undercarriage become lower and this is how the famous front lower arm bar easily get scratches.. But who bother the scratches?! The performance is still there what..

If u wan to feel the usage of each bar, u can try install it 1by1 piece smile.gif i talked too much also wont help much.. Maybe hard for u to understand bro.. Hehe.. Try urself experience urself enjoy it ^^

I would to correct my earlier post regarding the small button.

The  button is for safety purpose. Without pressing this switch the lock wont lock itself, in case any accident or impact of the car, the lock wont lock itself.

And the one that I installed is made locally. It's key is anti duplicate.

I used it on the new Vios. The lock has cable that link to the Vios existing cabling.
*
Yup bro,we understood.. Ur 1 local made should be called locktact rite?? As u mentioned,ur key cant be duplicate.. Roxy owned tat1 called locktech which made in thailand.. So the same as mine.. Mine rm300 plus installation at cheras accessories shop with walked-in not door2door step.. Plug n play.. Wire connection also plug n play..

Yup 1st lock even 2nd lock(which the small button lock beside the 1st handle lock.. Both lock doesnt require any key to lock it.. But both did when u need to unlock it..

Locktech original come with 3years manufacture warranty t&c applied smile.gif

Yes i know 3yrs old car can be cheap but some even selling as high as 65k, resale value really that good huh? 8k per year loss.  hmm.gif
I mean with the 3rd gen vios will ppl prefer to topup a little bit more for latest gen? Just curious.
*
Yup bro, toyota famous with it resale value smile.gif especially vios model.. Different ppl got different opinion.. Some ppl prefer dugong than the latest gen.. So rm60k++(new price=rm88k++) G-spec with 3yrs old dugong reli a great price for them..
Some ppl will think,if they can afford for the new car.. Y dont they jz go for a new model new car smile.gif
My suggestion for u bro,if u dont mind used/new car.. Jz for a car from route A-->B point.. Value for ur budget.. Mostly problem free car.. u can think to get a used vios dugong.. Low@easy maintenance too..

Thanks for the info .... Any good tyre recommend
*
For 15" u dont worry.. Rm150-170/pc,u can get a good tyre such as falken912/yokohama a-drive/brigestone my-02.. Hankook v12 should ard rm170-180.. If those rm200/pc,tat is reli good for a street speeder smile.gif all is 50/55 series.. For vios u can get 60series buy exp ard rm10-15/pc tyre..
Avoid silverstone/dunlop and other unfamous brand.. Silverstone tyre famous with it side wall easily cracking/swelling.. Hankook is good but u need always check the tyre pressure.. 15" budget tyre almost same price.. If 16/17,there will be very big different in price..

Just do it. The acceleration when going uphill on D drive is pathetic. Unless you shift gears or drag it.
Agreed. Looks too small. Try to spray it then let us know the outcome.  tongue.gif  tongue.gif  tongue.gif
