QUOTE(chelvakumar @ May 27 2014, 02:14 PM) 2014 Vios G spec. Took delivery in January 2014 from Toyota Showroom in Bayan Baru, Penang. Bloody alarm has been going off for no reason ever since i took the car home. Sent the car to service center in Bayan Baru and also Jelutong main center altogether 3 times!!!! Even left the car for a few days at the service center to check and rectify! Problem not solved. Brand new car and I can't even drive to the mall as i am not sure when the alarm will go off! Feel totally ripped off with extremely poor assistance from TOYOTA!!! Car now strictly for office or home only as i don't have to lock the car door hence no alarm!!!!!! Jelutong service center Tan is of NO help!!! "I will contact the technician" is all that he can do... guess its not his fault too!!!!! Bloody TOYOTA!!!!! Only know how to take money!!!! Anyone know what can i do??? is it because when you close the door and press lock, it detect as not close properly, hence alarm ring?i had that problem before this, then it just mysteriously go away. |

toyota sc didn't even called me back regarding my roof insulation issue.
that day my mom thought got accident nearby when a random drop of water hit the roof loudly. anyway not sure if i shared this, but that day when i did my 5k service, i felt that my handbrake was extremely tight, so when toyota called me and ask how's everything after the service, i asked about my handbrake. he then said that "oh we tighten it because previously it was too high, it's dangerous when it's too high". ok fine by me, but why didn't they tighten it during the first service? no eye see. |

ok, a positive update.
send my car to subang SC for roof insulation at 8am, received a call at 12.30pm saying it's done. immediately tested with heavy rain, so far so good, less noisy now. |

QUOTE(drakzero @ Jul 11 2014, 02:58 PM) weekends confirm cannot, I tried but not allowed.QUOTE(shuttlesworth @ Jul 11 2014, 03:09 PM) Hey glad to hear you guys getting your roof complaint attended to, is there any improvement? well, at least they are "training" the technicians la.Sadly in my case here in Miri, I was told they need to speak to UMW KL first, and their technicians doing insulation need to be trained (yes, training!) beforehand. With all these crap excuses tai chi here and there, I have yet to get my roof insulated, and I've been waiting for almost a month already. Same excuses for the lower arm spare part, I got to wait. |
