Just collected my car at 5pm. Sent in at 2pm... Went for a spin with the technical head. He heard the knocking noise as well.

Upon collection, he told me that he tested it and no more noise heard. What he did was tighten up the lower arm screw and all suspensions screws and nuts. Apart from this, he applied grease on all possible suspension joints/bushing as well.

Following is what written on the ServiceOrder:

Drove like 10km back home, no noise heard yet. Still cant confirm if it solved the issue. Will monitor for the next few days.

As for noisy eps sound, its normal. Loose brake pedal, normal also since its freePlay mechanism.

They tighten up all 4 arms... Now my rear legs got squeaking sound upon crossing speedbumps.

Yeap, the knocking aound still there.

I dont think they will acknowledge this and get u a replacement since its not an issue at all.

normally, got knocking sound upon wheel turn mostly come from the steering rack. This is my experience on 2 of my previous ride.
i guess  single or 2 case reported wont give their management a hint since its like once in a blue moon case.

apart from this, i also asked the Team Lead on the common reported case on new Vios. He said mainly is over-sensitve alarm sensor only. Other than that, nothing.

will do balancing and alignment at tyre shop next few days, baru ask them help check n see lol

i actually complain to sc and they said tighten everything b4 at 1st service, no solve,
everytime go back sc atleast hours sitting, i dont have much time playing with them... 
i hate sc, is the main point i choose toyota, end up.... 

so there's no more sound after it's tighten now? i guess i have to call my mech to do the same instead of relying on sc.

got like rattling 'thud' sound like something loose behind the dash or bumper whenever go through specific type of humps.

tht sound comes from abs pump. its normal. it happends usually after u park your car.
