QUOTE(zumaidi @ Apr 7 2014, 02:41 PM) I would to correct my earlier post regarding the small button. The button is for safety purpose. Without pressing this switch the lock wont lock itself, in case any accident or impact of the car, the lock wont lock itself. And the one that I installed is made locally. It's key is anti duplicate. I used it on the new Vios. The lock has cable that link to the Vios existing cabling. Yup bro,we understood.. Ur 1 local made should be called locktact rite?? As u mentioned,ur key cant be duplicate.. Roxy owned tat1 called locktech which made in thailand.. So the same as mine.. Mine rm300 plus installation at cheras accessories shop with walked-in not door2door step.. Plug n play.. Wire connection also plug n play.. Yup 1st lock even 2nd lock(which the small button lock beside the 1st handle lock.. Both lock doesnt require any key to lock it.. But both did when u need to unlock it.. Locktech original come with 3years manufacture warranty t&c applied

QUOTE(hihihehe @ Apr 9 2014, 10:29 PM) do you know the approximate cost? depends on what you want to change, the M7 semi-syn engine oil is around rm150 for 4L if i'm not mistaken torco SR-1 5w30 fully-syn that i'm using is roughly rm250 for 4L i think they only carry M7 and torco for engine oil, ATF oil is Q8 and torco

QUOTE(hihihehe @ Apr 10 2014, 01:36 AM) what is the difference? engine noise? can last up to 10k km? 10k mileage no problem la, they always write 5k service interval but i always go at 10k after i used torco i feel the engine noise is lower and the throttle is super light, you can find other drivers review about torco on the internet last time use 5w40 and it is better for cruising on highway @ 110km/h-120km/h while 5w30 is better for city drive because your engine is more responsive and no need to step on throttle too much oh yeah~ they do have labour charge, around rm25-35 for oil change This post has been edited by amduser: Apr 10 2014, 06:32 AM
