hi fellow forumer...
thinking on building WWII warship...never tried on warship before...need some advice
1. how's the flow on building and painting the ship?
2. i'm thinking: dry fitting > assemble and glue > undercoat > paint the ship. or is there method that i miss out?

any feedback is really appreciated smile.gif

nice f18, the only hard part for jet is the sealant/putty the gap line between upper body & lower body , & hydraulic wheel part.
*
yes..i agree..
so far gaps on this hasegawa are forgiving... wheel part needs to be strong and sturdy.. smile.gif

and BTW, these came in the mail today...
wanna try out something new..
not sure when will able find time to complete these sweat.gif sweat.gif

from HLJ if IJN carriers, scale 1/700 cost around RM70~80..shipping around RM30+ for EMS
if online shop from HK, i think cost would be a little bit lower..

so far my shipment of yamato n musashi, no issue with kastam..

1/700 IJN carriers (kit price) a bit exp than US carriers (when compair tamiya kit)

IJN Shokaku

maybe pit road kit got many extra stuff..this one can build full hull...
this tamiya carrrier quite light...only 300gm++..but only waterline

http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10183387

BTW, you can try SAL (registered) to keep the shipping cost down and avoid kastam..

I have much harder time on where the facing is and losing them because of it being clear (obviously)

Anyway just finish Akagi as well.

it would be easier to paint and put the decal on planes 1st before you glue them
also Khai62 you also dont paint it 1st too? or you gonna leave the planes unpainted?
*
gonna try assemble 1st and then paint...
if really tricky, will abandon the planes...will try your method for another set of float planes smile.gif
