1/48, and yes, the price is a turn off sweat.gif

finding 1/72, because can mix and match with many kits available biggrin.gif

QUOTE(strikermac @ Jan 31 2015, 04:01 PM)
Oh, that RM150 only. Pre-painted kit.
1/700 scale.
Find Mudah first then find their official site.

http://www.shahilauniquetoys.com.my/_item?...810897477959680
Still stock.
At TaoBao search in same thing, RMB390 = RM226.69. shocking.gif
So that why I can't hold it and buy. Hahahahaha. sweat.gif
*
1/700, pun terlalu kecil for my likings. found the link for the seller shop, ada 1/72 lunar pod, macam interested tongue.gif

why 1/72? because of this:

can easily do size comparison.

apart from that 1/32 hornet and 1/35 osorio, everything are supposed to be 1/72. that MiG-31 is hugeeeee wub.gif

Me buy 1/700 because of my BB, DDG, Submarines for size compare. tongue.gif
I done it last night already, got many many small parts, nearly screw it. sweat.gif
Luckily still done. If everyone don't mind will post pics here tomorrow or days later.
If not, may be need to open another thread for various model. smile.gif

Edit:
BTW actually last time I found this, but too expensive even at TaoBao,
So give up already.

Yes, those cheap kit after building it will be off- the shelf and forgotten. Try Zvezda kit, they are cheap and easy build like italeri. Doing a BTR-70 afghan version with extra tyre. Just get my Meng BMP-T last Saturday. This year will go all Russian for me.
*
Zvezda Su-39 1/72 is on my way already. Ordered yesterday, as well as Cromwell Models BMPT and Fabbri MT-LBM wub.gif
Looks like I have to wait around a month or so only then I can proceed with my order for other Frogfoots from Maquette and KP Models sad.gif

Using this one for practice purpose before trying on a better kit sweat.gif and for MYR 35.00 (and huge), ain't complaining a bit tongue.gif

limfreelance
great job on the t-59 and tank riders thumbup.gif

Thank you. Didn't expect to get it actually, and at first I thought it was a joke, so I was like 'yeah why not.' Turns out then he asked me for my mailing address and ask only to pay MYR 8.00 for shipping biggrin.gif

QUOTE(limfreelance @ Feb 2 2015, 02:26 PM)
woo, very sharp eye.
now i notice it got 8 wheels.  notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif

That is only because I have built one tongue.gif those 14 wheels are okay, but 7 suspension, urgh...

Now back to assembling MiG-25 laugh.gif Those R-40 missiles are huge. In fact, biggest air-to-air missile to date sweat.gif

As one could clearly see, Foxbat is a huge aircraft. Comparison with Ka-15HX, for all unfairness since that is the smallest I have in my arsenal of same scale (1/72).

This kit would require extensive puttying and filling. Man, this would be sooooooooooo muuuuuucccchhhhhh fuuuunnnnn yawn.gif

From size perspective of this kit, Kitech (knockoff of Hasegawa) is already correct. Only the problem is the dimension since the kit was made around the time Belenko defected in his MiG-25P (red 31), so the information was limited as compared to today's standard, hence the simplicity of the kit. It is even more plain since it is a knockoff of Hasegawa's Foxbat sweat.gif

Using kitchen tissue paper will be easy to wrap it. Better cover it well then having to re-do again due to overspray. Me use matt black first before apply hand painting or green paint. I always have this 3 color in my inventory - matt black, green and brown. Standard NATO color.
*
You know what, that is actually a good thing, I tak terfikir pun actually for kitchen towel. But won't it get soaked with paint?
