Around 35-36cm based on the deck.

Look like US always do their armor and tank with upgraded.
Not going to product new armor and tank anymore? hmm.gif
*
Because the current conflict is mainly revolve around small insurgency and guerrilla warfare so there no major incentive for these major power to make new armor at least in the near future.

for display, the planes are glued on the platform?

my battleships just about complete assembly...
do not have many free times..as i'm olso workin on an airplane and a racing car...
*
Not yet but i thinking on using white/PVA glue since it much easier to glue the plane neatly.

What i can think of between two of them are:
Decal - easier to fit but look shiny if not flat coated and probably need to cut the decal to several pieces for easier handling.

Wooden - replace the whole deck (most of the time) and might require some sanding to adjust the deck to fit.

But then again i never use both of them tho.

for aircraft carrier, I like more from IJN
prefer Akagi

is there any 1/350 scale based on her?
I would save my money for that
*
There only one which by Hasegawa that i think it was around RM 800++ depending on where you getting it plus not including the multitude of option parts that she have.

So far progress.
Paint guide abit missleding & less inform, ship 90% completed....remaining touch up for detail, jet, boat, & chopper. It come with the water effect that save alot of work.

if i not mistaken this 1/48 Shinden come with full interior part rite??
it remind me the anime of The princess & the pilot. LOL

Pretty much which explain the high cost relative to it's scale. sweat.gif
The one in The princess & the pilot is significant more powerful tho XD
