QUOTE(limfreelance @ Apr 13 2015, 09:22 AM) woo, diorama, all u need is 1/72 scale figure. i don't think i have the talent to paint 1/72 figures btw, so far progress, 50% decal work finish......still got plenty work to do. the glass crack due to pressing abit hard when painting progress. NVM..later gonna coat it with gold color. [attachmentid=4409091] Su-27, yes? That is a nicely done kit (although 50% done QUOTE(Khai62 @ Apr 14 2015, 02:35 AM) Been very slow with my Pak-FA build, just finish the cockpit area. loving the cockpit details ![]() ![]() Also my haul have arrive and some how i get extra destroyer kit.... ![]() extra are always better BTW |

QUOTE(limfreelance @ Apr 14 2015, 01:19 PM) yup. bcos some said copy or upgrade from zvezda, especially the decal. loolllllwooo, revell mahal lo....OK i get zvezda. LOL In any case, the kits that are cheap are: PST Condor Amodel Zvezda, Ace Model, Italeri, are those I find it to be fair-priced offerings. As for Revell, ART Model, Modelsvit, etc, those are on the expensive side |

QUOTE(limfreelance @ Apr 14 2015, 03:51 PM) yup. Zvezda sometimes takes shortcuts with their kits. Su-47 is one with such flaws. When compared to drawings scaled down to 1/72, the details and accuracy of mold is even better with Hobby Boss, and they offered an even lower price compared to Zvezda but i notice that zvezda T50 decal very less & simply, unlike hobbyboss & revell, more accurate. my priority now is to collect the whole 1/72 Russia missile, radar & command vehicles from modelcollect. But at least they produced Su-39, which I am more than happy to obtain QUOTE(Battlefield1942 @ Apr 14 2015, 05:22 PM) Finally done the machine gun unit for Myanmar Army Type 59D with Reactive Armour as on parade early this year. Trumpeter Type 59/69 sharing similar spruce as I get both and comparing it one come with extra cage armour while other add in 3 crews. Since both sold around RM65/each from Sandakan. Just get both to save on postage. Type 80 is different machine even when they share one single large spruce. That is a camo most won't see, surely. Lovely one, I must say |

that whole tank-is-harder-than-ship only applies to 1/35 tanks, right guys? Surely 1/72 tank is easy to build

QUOTE(Battlefield1942 @ Apr 16 2015, 09:36 AM) Just order my Airfix Chi Ha and African Korp 1/72 with Ace MT-LB (6MB) from HHQ. Hope to see it by this weekend by pos. Chi Ha tank will compliment my early Japanese infantry of Malayan Campaign. Ace Kit are not cheap a 1/72 scale is about the same price as a normal trumpeter 1/35 kit but it a rare model. It arrival the next day! surely the MT-LBM is still available with HHQ, right? |

QUOTE(Battlefield1942 @ Apr 19 2015, 10:26 AM) That Ace MT-LB track is a pain to assemble. Better do it first the bottom wheel and the track before putting anything on top. The single link is hard to do, so use the extra medium track link and hot air blower (your hair blower) to soften it and bend into the wheel. The many handle, I just use the network cable cut out and bend using plier to put into place after drilling it. Can use hand drill or dremel but mark it and drill a small hole. Will never buy another ace kit again after working on that track. PST track is much better. LOL sabar2 I am already okay with what Ace has to offer though, so I tahan je lah There are another 2 ZSU-23-2 in HHQ, it that yours? If so, that is an easy kit to assemble I am still asking Uncle to reserve Gaskin, and those 3 BMPs. Not enough moolah to haul altogether |

MT-LB is an older kit of Ace, hence the single link and length track as compared to the recent ones that come with vinyl.

QUOTE(Khai62 @ Apr 20 2015, 01:25 PM) Like that can meh i usually use 3 sec glue, but truth be told, it doesn't really hold that well :/Also that one good looking plane. I don't have problem with bending, it just to stick the PE part to plastic i have problem with. QUOTE(nazrul90 @ Apr 21 2015, 05:34 PM) good thing the item seems alright QUOTE(dweeb203 @ Apr 21 2015, 07:26 PM) guys, need your opinion here. i'm looking for a model of multirole fighter, single sitter model. between the choices was: whynotboth.jpg Rafale Su35 F15 F18 F22 F35 the Su35 sure looked sexy as hell with gray-toned polygon camo, but a plain F15 & F22 did looked sexy too! please give me your opinion. thanks edit: oh yeah, one more thing, for tanks, meng's T90A or BMP-T? challenger looked pretty good too. thanks again F-22 would fit the bill since it is the 5th gen fighter BMPT would be my pick, lawa woo |

Will probably start by next week. Need to transfer the items to rented house in PD, so I can do the modeling over there after work hours.
And at last, got my final 4 Su-25 for my squadron |
