As for online, my usual go to is Hobbylink Japan (because can hold the item for 60 days) or Hobbysearch (more detail product discription and larger selection)

That tank is really something that average people can own.

There no snapfit for these kits so planning ahead is require especially in term of how the part held together and how to paint it later. Personally i use the Tamiya Extra Thin cement (the green one) since it quick to dry and don't leave much residue if you mess up but need sometime to get use to it. Another one is the Revell Contacta Preofessional which basically like the standard tamiya cement but in needle form to get into tight spaces.
