Tq, actually the camo is OK, bcos it huge & little pcs compared to the Nitemare ZTZ 99.
painting & masking the ztz 99 took me 2 days.

this MENG BMPT is very well detail, but fragile compare to T90a.
the gun turret r too tight to tunable, The side skirt armor was consist of 6 pins (1mm) connector to body hull, when u hold the part u can feel it quite fragile & got little noise.  sweat.gif

the front Mine cleaning part & the rear mesh part r fragile as well......no place for u to hold except the engine part or bottom body hull.
but the detail is superb.

Fuh, good thing I don't make 1/35, I have no patience to do it slowly sweat.gif Well, at least it is done nicely, and stashed well without random hands touching it, it should last for ages biggrin.gif

My resin BMPT is still just the way I received it laugh.gif malas nak sentuh dulu selagi skill is not that good. Train with easier kits first tongue.gif

That Bishop is the answer to huge big turret KV-2. I love italeri 1/72 as it simple and some even come with simplify war game assemble like my M20 armour car. Revell 1/72 come in over 160 parts just like it 1/35 brother for a GTK Boxer. I got that Meng BMP-T and it come with over 1000 parts (mainly track). Will take note and replace with metal wire when doing the side skirt. Still WIP for my Meng Panzer 2000. The metal barrel is too heavy for that little plastic to hold it.
*
Since some of the mold are acquired from old ESCI mold, I do think the charm of these is the ease of construction. Details are great, if one is not a rivet counter (I am surely not, hence I don't really care now for the accuracy of the kit tongue.gif)

QUOTE(limfreelance @ Mar 3 2015, 09:10 AM)
the  Bishop Mk.1 look cute. the head look bigger than KV2.

for p2000, the metal gun barrel is hard to paint, as u may need a undercoat for it. Paint easy to scar in metal part.

This week gonna assemble Maus.

For percentage, yes, but since the basis was of Valentine tank, that would answer why the superstructure seems big (and derpy tongue.gif)

just ask uncle low if he could bring those in
in regards to the price, i do agree if it is available by other manufacturers, better go with the latter
typical of short run, but ace do produce some kits that others didn't even planning to make
will try to get some s-model and more modelcollect in the future, to bulk up my russian ground forces biggrin.gif

QUOTE(limfreelance @ Mar 6 2015, 02:23 PM)
yup.
1/48 scale for f 16 actually is quite small. since it small & light weight, so, shipping same as 1/72 scale.
1/48 F16 still small abit compare to 1/72 su33  (33cm) length.
Next shipping????  1/72 scud.

after finish all my backlog..& IF got extra time & space, will go for f16.
*
THAT small? Lol

In that case, it is a better bargain to get it thumbup.gif
1/72 SCUD? Toxso ah? I saw the review, got some inaccuracies eg. doors are big, etc, but unless one is a rivet counter, the details should be more than enough

The mold seems sharp with little to no flash whatsoever, a good move for a brand new manufacturee in scale kit world biggrin.gif

hahaha..cannot complain much since it was 1/72 scale...but i think it still better than the old resin kit.  smile.gif

i saw hobby HQ have restock 1/35 trumpeter scud.  brows.gif
*
Yes, that I agree. Resin is worse since it require a person to do lots of preparation for it
And BTW, Toxso is making the TEL movable, not like Zvezda's Topol, so, that is something, right thumbup.gif
Even the 105 mm and 155 mm gun under the same branch also included spring to replicate recoil in 1/72, which is saying something regarding their dedication

How much is the SCUD from your agent? I might be getting SCUD too later in the future, if the price is good

QUOTE(Battlefield1942 @ Mar 6 2015, 05:20 PM)
Yes, we collector of 1/72 CTC will like to keep all our stuff in that scale but the kit is hard to find. Luckily, CTC provided a lot of them already. I go for 1/35 if it got interior detail or transparent casing with interior - more for educating and show what inside as it too small for 1/72 to have interior. Tiger 1 - your ace bmd look better quality then the batch I bought last time that come in big chuck of plastic. Zsu-23-2 in that scale without PE must be hard to do.
*
Older release was either PE tracks or plastic, right? Newer ones came with the vinyl ones, with is a great thing (at least to me, I'm lazy to assemble plastic track laugh.gif)
Oh you will be surprised. The ZSU-23-2 is not done yet, PE parts is still not attach sweat.gif

QUOTE(Exiled_Gundam @ Mar 6 2015, 05:37 PM)
Saw this from HobbySearch (and some other site) http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10312067

The description seems to say something about snap-fit (and frm the picture it's already multi-colored)?
*
Seems like it, and if so, it would be like the newer release of Bandai's Star Wars line of vehicle such as X-Wing and TIE. Multicolored plastic with easy build (snap fit)

Of course in the right hand (certainly not mine LOL) painting the product would enhance the final appearance biggrin.gif

Guys, I am still wondering on how to properly cut resin off the kit. My BMPT's threads (lower parts) is the part with excess resin block. I don't have access to hobby saw. Is the other way to cut it and sand in order to preserve the threads surface details? Surely it won't be seen if put it on display, but if I could preserve the threads, it would be better for me.

That one is halfway done only, still haven't put PE. Surely the detail will be even more stunning after PE attachment laugh.gif

Sorry to hear about your Topol (not M, 7 tyres only tongue.gif). Luckily mine was okay in terms of the alignment.

myr 100-110 is a good price for scud. local sellers are selling somewhat inflated price at myr 130.00 w/o shipping

but as of now, not really a concern since not in my near future to-get list tongue.gif
