Ok, that's very harsh, but I like it.
So what if you've S Note, S Voice and all Crapsung apps if you don't use them?
I myself don't use those S Note or whatever crap, so I ventured into custom ROM and never look back.
As I always tell my friends, Shamesung is good at designing hardware, but software is a big no-no.

Anyway, back to the topic.
I'm still waiting for LG Malaysia to launch Nexus 5 officially.
If DiGi is able to bring in, that'll be better.
*
Samsung tried to do too much with lack of experience.Software was never their strength. They tried to do something with S3 but ended with "convoluted" product. Some of their additional functionality like multi window (even though it was more like hack) was interesting. But if Samsung want to have the best hardware/software experience they probably have to streamline their ROM's & make their UI more consistent.
Aside from the Nexus series I would say S2 as 1 of the best Android phone.Excellent hardware with good software support.Sammy updated S2 from 2.3.6->4.0.4->4.1. Would have been better if Samsung went further with the software support.
Also Samsung should really improve their hardware documentation. It sucks.

Again DiGi with Nexus? Oh, please no. I think the early Nexus 4 adopters will agree with me.
I'm waiting for the Malaysian Nexus 5 launch. But if no update till February I'll probably go for 32GB AP set.
Seriously, even Moto G which was launched later than Nexus 5 is going to be launched in Malaysia soon even though Motorola pulled out of APAC market.LG still have presence in Malaysia. What's the holdup?

I think it's true that LG have problem finding distributor for their smartphones in Malaysia. G2 also haven't been released for Malaysian market.
At this rate I'm hoping LG Malaysia will just clarify whether there will be local Nexus 5 set released in Malaysia.

Brought mine to the beach and came back with quite a few scratches, so thankful I have screen protector and ultra hybrid on...

Now thinking of getting a slimmer case with a glass sp tongue.gif

Btw, I haven't take off the camera sticker yet for fear of scratches, anyone in the same boat?
*
That happened with my Nexus 4.In my case it's more severe because Nexus 4 have huge piece of glasses front & back. Unfortunately sands can scratch gorilla glass quite easily.

I have to say tanjinjack is doing really good job with his bulk. Unfortunately I have to wait for a while before I can use the wireless charger because my Nexus 4 is in service center now sad.gif

How come that expensive ah?

From the link you can get 2 Ringke for USD16 + USD8 for shipping which equals to USD24 = RM80 hmm.gif
*
?
He mentioned he bought 2 Ringke Fusion for RM135 including courier.
If he bought from the sleller you mentioned he would paid roughly RM150.Which is more expensive.

Sorry if you misinterpret what I meant. I'm simply stating am satisfied enough. I've played with S4, iphone5 and Z1, yes S4 and iphone5 was better but Z1 was let down for me. I wont drag 1020 into it, as it has super huge sensor, thus unfair to compare.
There's no way N5 would win smartphone camera war. It's Google's first take to improve camera experience, so only future would know.

1st of all Google need to get rid of current camera UI.It's rubbish.

yeah that i know. glass will always be glass. but the frequency of it happening in relation to launch date/amount of users I have to say I overestimated gorilla glass 3><

back then when i was using nokia lumias n iphones (gorilla glass 2) i dropped quite a few times n they don't seem as fragile n i dont hear much complains on cracked screens. OKAY TIME TO GET GLASS SP.
*
The Nokia word is self explanatory. biggrin.gif
Most case where glasses broken are when the phone fell front facing. Can't do much about that.

Regarding the Malaysian release for Nexus 5 I still believe it's issue with the distributor than general reception for Nexus 5.There are reasonable amount of request for the Nexus 5 to be released in Malaysia and there are few loose Nexus 5's in LG SC in Kelana Jaya. If LG managed to sort out their distribution issue in Malaysia I believe we'll see both Nexus 5 & G2 officially launched in Malaysia.

So regarding LG service...LG stock software is bit of rubbish.I think the power users will agree with that.Hardware is quite good. Number of people were skeptical with LG after sale service because they didn't have larger presence like Samsung. But surprisingly the after sale service is quite good. In Nexus 4 case repairs such as screen replacement, button replacement, battery replacement & back cover replacement are all done on sport quickly on spot provided they have stock. And their repair parts are quite cheap compared to other OEM's.E.g Nexus 4 screen replacement cost RM350 including repair charge in LG SC. So yeah, I'm quite happy with LG's after sale service.

QUOTE(djlah @ Jan 15 2014, 05:11 PM)
yes, correct.
Celcom: band 3 & 7 (1800, 2600)
DiGi: band 7 only (2600)
Maxis: band 3 & 7 (1800, 2600)
U Mobile: band 7 only (2600)
*
I think eventually DiGi will use both band 3 & 7 too.
Speaking of DiGi's LTE, where the heck is the LTE service for mobile phone???

QUOTE(djlah @ Jan 15 2014, 05:26 PM)
is not n5 didn't have this feature.
as far I know only samsung device add video call function but not for rest by default. as google don't support it. why you still need or asking this question today? I agree with rest of vendor not wasting their time to add this function. In additional, our data plan also affordable now for you to make a video call via various of free apps available.
if refer to previous cycle, 1 vendor for 2 gen of nexus phone; so next nexus phone I vote for sony. since google already committed keep improving camera quality. RAW support on next, I believe google also need better hardware such as camera lens and sensor vendor support.
*
I've owned 3 devices with front facing camera but never used in in any application. tongue.gif

The odd thing is larger number of Googlers are photography nerds. I wonder why with such interest Google keep releasing Nexus devices with low performing cameras...
I don't expect Android OEM's to release a device that beat Lumia 1020. But at least make a camera that is perform consistently good.

For comparison, Nexus 4 was launched last year on mid/end January 2013, RM1500 damage with Digi contract. While LG Malaysia 'still considering' to bring in, you could wait all you want  biggrin.gif
*
RM1649 when it was 1st launched. The RM1499 price was with some funny plan.

I expect AP sellers to go apeshit crazy with the Nexus 5 price if LG Malaysia decide against selling Nexus 5 in Malaysia.
