QUOTE(Longshot @ Jan 11 2014, 03:00 PM) Based on battery doctor apps, the battery temp is 48.4 Celsius. i think depends on game too, i play real racing 3 not that hot compare to frozen free fall puzzle game.. Everything stock. Not sure where to see the processor temp. This is about 10 minutes gaming on plant vs zombies. Battery drain from 53% to 38%. Will try other games and see how. |

QUOTE(-kytz- @ Jan 14 2014, 03:12 PM) Here's a short review of the Ringke Fusion case nice review ! make me feel like get one right now + Love the solid build quality + Love the rubberized soft texture, like the Nexus 5 back + Doesn't add too much bulk and seems to offer good protection with the thick rubber. Yes, it surprised me as well, the rubber seems to be thick which is good, but it doesn't feel bulky at all. + The transparent back is clear and for now, hasn't collected any scratches at all. Will update again. <--- You can put customizable cut outs, unlimited possibilities! + Cut outs are perfect! + The volume and power button has a really nice tactile feel to them. Almost as good as the stock Nexus 5 buttons - The edge maybe be a little sharp for some but it's not an issue for me For RM55, this is a pretty awesome case! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED |

QUOTE(-kytz- @ Jan 14 2014, 04:08 PM) Yeah. oh ya, how is the case fit with rhino? and which seller u get from. Ringke Fusion has slightly raised corners at the back to prevent the transparent back from scratches. Sad to hear that Like usual, did you have a case or any SP on it (if got SP, which type, normal type of glass) ? |

QUOTE(tanjinjack @ Jan 15 2014, 12:18 AM) Rhino Shield is a polymer-based screen protector. Compared to glass-based protector, it is more impact resistant (less likely to crack/shatter) but it will be easier to scratch. Shatter vs scratch. registered the ROI. Bulk 2 of Rhino Shield is now accepting ROI. Link in my signature. |

IMO they survey for which telco wana do Nexus package. If none of them show interest, maybe LG would not want to bring in also..

QUOTE(jackal75 @ Jan 22 2014, 11:42 AM) if your finger is oily, it will leave the oil n fingerprint on it. i developed this habbit of wash hand more frequent since ive gotten the N5.. usually when i see this happen, i go and wash my hand with soap then try it again. good indication for me to wash my hand frequently. waiting for rhino.. at least better oleo than normal sp i guess.. |

i think Google Now not that bad, i like the card which estimate traffic and roughly minutes to work/home/other location depends on your history, gps switched to low bat working fine. Weather card okay too. The rest not so.

QUOTE(marcus_bread @ Jan 24 2014, 09:24 AM) hi sifu here, got an issue to my nexus 5 battery. it used to be consume abt 5% during my sleeping time (8 hrs) and few days back it started to went wrong where over the 8 hrs of sleeping time it consume more than 30% of the battery. is anyone know how to detect which part of it go wrong? same thing happened to me before, 9hours idle, from 98% drop to 0. Booted and check 7 hours+ wakelock. Not sure which app causes it. Went back to normal since reboot. from the screenshot i notice the graph go slip down all the way even during the 8 hrs of sleeping time. im currently on non-rooted stock rom and also during sleeping time i off the data and wifi. |

QUOTE(xxdesire @ Jan 24 2014, 10:09 AM) Um..I'm not sure for android/latest, but the alarm is part of the software in the device, if you turn off the device, how would the alarm ring if your phone is off? (assuming battery 0% > auto power off) I have tried turn off, the alarm will not ring. If alarm alone can bypass android system and still work if phone turn of will be nicer. I don't think so it will ring. Have you tried this? Really curious |
