How is ringke case for N5? I find it was a very very tight fit for previous N4 n G Nexus. Removing it was a tough task n chances of scratching the sides was very high. It however looks nice.

All N5 are LTE enabled. There is no 3g only model. Only USA models (d820) its lte bands is incompatible here. If you are having model D821 the LTE is compatible here

Is yours D821? And are you using same simcard as N7?
For maxis cards issued past 2 years is auto lte enabled. No need to activate it
For celcom most simcards except recent new ones you need to change it at only certain celcom outlets
For umobile you need to request activation n not sure whether you need to change sim

To date only u mobile offer LTE services on prepaid. Rest of telcos you need a postpaid plan

Another alternative get a USB pisen adapter n plug into Notebook usb port to boost power output. This cost about rm12-15 n easily obtainable from ebay or garage sales lowyat

Why don't you do it n than see whether the mods will close it down?
