When I apply SP I use cellophon-tape to get rid of dust specks near the edge, my phone now has perfectly applied SP

no matter what SP, it'll scratch if there's sand
sand hardness is 9, just below diamond which is 10, metal i think is 7 or 8

I got the template from XDA

Upper Left 1 is the one that came with Ultra Hybrid
Upper Left 2 is the one I made without template


Upper Right is the one I made with template from XDA
I noticed that the camera cut out by the XDA template is too high, you can see it below



so I made some changes
Bottom 4 are those I made after removing the camera cutout from the XDA template, after printing it out I overlay the Spigen plate over them and cut out the opennings myself
turned out OK

just 70g A4 paper, can fit 3 on 1 A4
it's not hard, just that with template you can see the results before you print them, without template needs more guess work and you might get some parts wrong ie you print a picture of a girl only to find out her face is at the camera hole

s2w/dt2w costs me 3%/hr on stand by, without those I'm at 1%/hr, YMMV

Do you find that matte screen protectors affect the clarity and sharpness of the screen? From my previous experience on Samsung i9000, I find that there will be colour artifacts and reduced sharpness if I put on a matte SP

Another problem: I'm using a 3rd party keyboard (Multiling), and if I disable Google voice typing, a popup that says “Google voice not available” will keep appearing, but if i enable it, it sometimes opens Google voice as default instead of the 3rd party keyboard
Is there anyway I can prevent
1. The popup notification from appearing of I disable Google voice?
2. Google voice from opening as default input method?

I'm using multiling, has the languages I need, swipe input, configurable size, special characters, gesture control, best keyboard I've used
Only problem is the customization options might be overwhelming for some people

editted: erm, maybe because i don't use the navigation bar (i use LMT launcher) so i didn't notice much difference between then and now, read up a bit and it seems that immersive mode hides navigation bar, so maybe only recently did asphalt 8 got it
