Just ordered a couple of sleeves from Etsy. It's hard to find sleeves/pouches here, all the stores carry only the hardcases. I rather have a slim/minimal case or even naked phone but pair it with a sleeve for protection. Can't stand bulky cases that destroy the aesthetics of the phone...

Got my Nillkin Glass Protector, took about 2 weeks since I ordered. Packaging is quite nice, applied it in my bathroom with hot water running to get rid of dust flying around and also used the hinge method of applying. I still couldn't get it 100% centered but it's close enough. Pretty much perfect application unless you really scrutinize it.

Feel is great, and doesn't seem to be any degradation in screen response. You do feel the screen is slightly raised though, despite it being pretty thin (0.3mm).

I got two of them from this seller (http://www.ebay.com/itm/271350028708?ssPag...984.m1497.l2649) for only $10 each. It looks genuine but of course I won't know for sure. But the listing has ended so I don't think you can get it at this price anymore...

That's weird. Where are you located? I'm near Kepong and mine shipped on 27th of December, arrived yesterday. Actually the tracking said it was already at my local post office since the 8th of January...

You bought it from the same seller right? He did give me a tracking number... ah well, can never really predict what these Chinese sellers do anyway.

Nope that's not the quicksand case. Try searching for 'quicksand nexus 5' on eBay and pick the cheapest one. Its probably $2 now. But shipping is free. Still worth it.

The quicksand cases have a rougher texture and looks and feels class. It has a terrific grip to it. If you're scared of it scratching the phone when putting it on you can actually use the provided cheap screen protector to slide the phone into the case without any damage. Taking if off is actually easier without having to use anything. But if you're still worried you can use a credit card, insert one corner of the card into the slit between phone and case, slide the whole card it and the case will come off.

I was on umobile U28 postpaid plan on my iPhone 4 before my Nexus 5 and the coverage was just bad. Somehow under my Nexus 5 it seems to have improved a lot. Disconnects happen a lot less I think. Not sure coincidence or some placebo effect haha.

Btw I can get up to 15Mbps speeds on my U28 plan, and even after I hit my quota according to the SMS I get, I'm still able to hit 5Mbps. How much faster is Maxis or even Umobile LTE? 15Mbps is adequately fast I think.

Oh another pesky but minor thing that you sifus may know. How come my friends say I'm online in Facebook when I'm not? I only have the Facebook app installed, not the FB messenger app. Even when I close the app it shows I'm online...

Guys, say I downloaded an app from a third-party source (such as the Falcon Pro app). How do check if there's an update for that app? If it's from the play store then I will be notified if there's a new version and it will download automatically, but how about apps from other sources?

What the hell, I just plugged my phone into my pc, copied a music album into it, unplugged it and now my entire sd card folder is missing. The only folders I can see now are "Android" and "Whatsapp".

What happened? Any way to restore it? All my data is gone.

Nope, loaded recovery and used the file manager there. The sdcard folder is bascially empty.

Can someone give me a list of the default sdcard contents? I wanna rebuild it with the same folder names. Thanks!

My phone settings are intact though. Its just that the sd card folder just mysteriously emptied itself.

Guys, I see lots of wakelocks from wlan_rx_wake and bam_dmux_wake. For example at night with about 7 hours of sleep, my wlan_rx_wake will take up about 50 minutes. However the drop in battery over this period is about 3-5%. Is this normal?

I think it's the Rinke Slim case that scratches...

Actually I had spider webs when I applied my Nillkin glass SP too, but by simply using your nails to scratch (with pressure) the affected parts, mine went away. Took about 10 seconds.

Don't think fingernails will scratch your 9H glass protector . Mine left no mark using my nails.

Just my guess, but the spider webs look like they're simply gaps between the adhesive underneath.
