what a frustrating mess...
anyway Ringgit malaysia to canada dollar is.. rm3.1 to 1 CAd
rm 3.1 to 0.94 USD
So it's obvious that CAD is cheaper... except there are taxes...
So, if people whom are experienced with E shop, can you let me know which region should I pick?
Because I hear that linking a nintendo network id (want to try a demo) will region lock your 3ds settings.

Stick with US. If the Canadian E Shop decides to revoke ur CC and no longer usable, how?
I haven't heard anyone who can sell Canadian E Shop Cash Codes at the moment. Since Currency is an uncontrollable variable, you might as well stick with the one that is more commonly available.

if you prefer using credit cards, then set Alberta, Canada as your country
if you prefer buying nintendo points instead, then US
