Day 2
I would suggest you start your day earlier. Trains are operational around 5. Nothing to see also at the fish market after 9. Most people already left or queuing for sushi.

Take a look at the metro map online. You're basically traveling unnecessary distance if you go around like that. Where is your hotel?

And Shibuya and shinjuku only half day? Sure you can do it if you just spend an hour or two in each place but what's the point in that?

thanks for the response smile.gif i'm staying near tsukiji.

i saw from the forum that unless i plan to join the auction, i can only visit after 9am, or can we watch from the side? tongue.gif

dear all, just to confirm, for the hakone free pass (odawara-hakone, 3900 yen), we can buy from Odakyu sightseeing center at Shinjuku right? or can we only buy from Odawara?

can we buy the pass a few days in advance?

thanks!

Since you are not using romance car, you can buy Hakone Pass at Odawara Station. Cheaper.

I emailed the odakyu visitor center. They said I am able to buy the 3900 yen ticket at shinjuku too ^-^ (hopefully no miscommunication here.)

thanks for reviewing! Is there any "must see" places that I missed out? ^-^

Oh that would be good if it's true, do update us when you return.

If your intention to go to Shinjuku is only to buy the ticket, then you could skip it and but at Odawara. Just an alternative.

thanks for the advice! will update.

question on souvenirs tongue.gif

I'm planning to buy small souvenirs when in Tokyo. Is it generally cheaper in Oriental Bazaar or Ameyoko street? I'm only going to each place once so hope if I can get any feedback on this.

thanks!
