hi there am going to Japan on 8 april reaching narita airport at about 8.30pm. is the airport clearance busy? planning to take the skyliner to ueno staying at mitsui garden hotel.
Can anybody please comment whether it is safe to walk at night in ueno?

just came back from tokyo last night, staying at Ueno for the past week. temperature is about 17 to 21 celcius max during day and lowest around 7 degrees celcius around 3am. Its actually not that cold but when the wind blows it is chilly. For me I just wear long sleeve jacket, but feels like a fish out of water cos everyone is wearing wooly clothings, jackets and coats, Disneyland was chilly even though the temperature was 20degress celcius at about 12noon. I feel cold even wearing jacket. couldnt resist the ice cream though it taste good and didnt melt one bit while i was eating it. Again it depends on individual on how you would feel it. just my two cents. spring flowers and tulips was displayed in disneyland plus the easter theme parade was amazing

people who has not been Japan will think it is like small country, wait til you land in Tokyo then open mouth wide wide I had been to Tokyo two times { a week each time.} I still find myself a lot places to explore. will be going for a third trip next year many thanks to Regent Cid and other forumers for poisoning me

11 days so many places? Please read up from this forum first, don't waste your precious time and money without proper planning
