Shinkansen ticket can buy through Ticket Machine like our LRT train. Ticket also can get from seat reserve office. One station got 6 ticket machine. There is no way cannot get ticket using Credit Card. All machine are crrdit card accept

If main connection off, all credit card cannot used, then really have to used cash. All station have ATM

Guys, just wondering if Mazda plant visit is a good substitute for Toyota?
It's more convenient to get to Mazda while I am at Hiroshima as to go to Toyota is a bit more time and money consuming.

Ryozen Kannon (靈山觀音)

From Kiyomizudera we moved on to a nearby temple, the Ryozen Kannon which houses a really huge Bodhisattva (菩薩) statue. Entrance fee was about ¥100-¥200.

From the looks of it, it's definitely not a major tourist spot, apart from Buddhists like me who come to this place to pay some respect or have a piece of mind. It's quite a decent place to do some meditation or other spiritual activities.

On our way down, we finally spotted some beautiful flowers! Summer in Japan was really starting to get dull. At least we got to see a glimpse of autumn colours.

Really nice Japanese Zen garden

Maple leaves?

From here we then make our way back to Kyoto station and headed to our last destination in Kyoto -> Fushimi Inari Shrine!

Hi all!

I m going to Japan in real soon. I have activate the debit card (for doing oversea withdraw) for the duration on my travel but.. I have read some sites (tripadvisor mostly) some tourists comment that they cant withdraw cash over there..

Has anyone done that before? Your advise n sharing is real appreciated!

There's already Japan thread, why you need to open new one? https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/3092421

Anyway your card will likely (not guaranteed) work for cash withdrawals in 7 bank ATM in 7-11, and will almost definitely not work in any of the other local banks.

Check if ur card support PLUS or CIRRUS?

I did withdrawal in Japan on 3 occasions, using Maybank ATM card. All of them at Citibank. Max withdrawal amount per transaction JPY150k.

No problem at all. But make sure you activate international withdrawal via your ATM machine. For Maybank Debit card, just find any ATM in Japan wth "PLUS"sign. Well not necessary Japan...anywhere inthe world too haha
