QUOTE(RegentCid @ Jun 28 2014, 06:06 PM) Thank you for the advice. will go and make a new one.Last question, since my trip there will be for a month long (was a gungho plan hence will be stretching the budget), i'm planning to bring some supplements, 10 LBS whey protein link and 1 month worth of multivits link. Will there be any issues at the airport? |

If you renew now for 5 years, then maximum 6 months will be carried forward. If you renew now for 2 years, no months will be carried forward. If you are booking Airasia, don't even have to key in passport until you web check in 2 weeks before your flight. There shouldn't be any issue with updating passport details with other flights also. |

How strict is Tokyo in terms of bringing food in? Being a Muslim and it's a bit difficult for me to find food there, I was thinking of bringing some food in to make my trip easier i.e. Maggi Mees, Brahim's ready made curry's or some fried rice paste and thing's like that since I can buy rice there to be cooked? Will this be a problem with the Customs?

QUOTE(RegentCid @ Jun 30 2014, 09:10 PM) Am planning to take those houses from AirBnB so I'm set on the cooking part. Just wondering whther I can bring those stuff I mentioned into Tokyo. And yes, I have no intention of buying Malaysian or Arabic food in town. I'll probably look up Takoyakis in Osaka or Temputa elsewhere though as those are seafood. Was thinking of looking up Ramen but no luck so far googling a convenient Seafood Ramen in Tokyo or Osaka. If you look at N250 (red box), you will see that it does not run on Saturday. However, if you check from Hyperdia on 1st Dec which is a Monday, N250 does not exist. Any idea why? Will there be a N250 running during that time? Plus they have no facility and any ground equipment at all. All have to buy new. One interesting partner is Rakuten. They might not be an airline company but the way they work is quite innovative. I know quite a few of their Project Managers in the development team and PMO and almost all are foreigners and their working style are totally different from Japanese. Saw the lauching in the news yesterday and all partners appears in T-shirt rather than suit and tie. Not sure if this will be successful or end in tears but I am sure it will be interesting.AirAsia old partner are ANA. that why can used all ANA ground facility...but not this time. |
