Hello,
I want to shut down my pc by typing in some command in the Run menu. What is the command I should type?

Thanks for your guidance.

shutdown -s -m \\computername

ie. if computer name is TestPC1,
shutdown -s -m \\TestPC1

"shutdown -f -s" would be better.

-s option is to shutdown the computer, f to force application to close.

\\comptuername is only needed when you want to remotely shutdown some PC not your own. (but you need rights)
