Yeah man. I love the design and I don't want a casing to make it even chunkier. Just an SP to make it scratch resistant at the back, cukup makan lar.

well, whether to wait for z2c, up to individual la. thus far no news or whatsoever rumours about z2c yet...

but if we look at the spec between the big brothers, z1 vs z2, i think the biggest difference is the screen. z2 uses ips which greatly improve the viewing angle of z1.

but looking at z1c, it already is using ips screen... so, what else is there to look forward for z2c?

slightly faster processor? stereo speaker? 4k video recording? are these important to your needs?

oh mai April, definitely will lose its appeal since launching with z2, though different class altogether

I was wondering if the Z1 Compact comes with kitkat out of the box by then...coz there're news floating around that kitkat update will arrive around the same time we get the phone here.

I'm just being optimistic.

me: hi miss, do you have z1c available? coz i saw in sony fb they've announced it.
girl: z1c? what's that? hmm.. no no we don't sell such thing here.
me: (in disbelief) r u sure miss?
girl: yes yes i'm sure.
me: (trying hard not to ridicule her    ) can you check again with ur kolik over there?
girl: (she calls the guy, guy came over) weh customer tanya ni kita ada jual z1c x? xde kan?
guy: oh, z1c? yes it's officially released today but unfortunately stock haven't arrive yet. usually after 2,3 days announce then only stock arrive here. i suggest u come again prolly on sabtu/ahad.
me: hmm.. ok. can i know what bundle u guys offer?
guy: sorry, we also dunno. have to wait until stock arrive.
me: ok

while i was walking away, i overheard:
girl: z1c tu ape weh? i x penah dengar pun name produk tu
guy: z1 compact la, xperia smartphone tu
girl: laaa yeke..

hi guys, just out of curiosity. Right now Z1 already price dropped to RM1888. For Z1c is RM1699. Why not just top up a bit to get Z1 for a bigger screen?

because it's NOT THE BIG SCREEN that we're after, we're after it's COMPACT-ness

we want compact/small/mini/whatevertheycalledit form factor deswai we are here..     

because bigger is not always better... too big not comfortable to hold...

why and how does it affect the phone? 
doesn't the phone itself supports magnetic cable charging? by that same effect doesn't it affect the phone too?
i know glass more protection but i lazy to keep washing phone .. banyak susah for me 
btw this phone isn't quite dust resistant as i imagine it to be .. still can pick out fine pieces of dust.. and also accumulates lint (?) whenever i take out from pocket
