Well I'm trying to patiently wait for the Z1 compact. Been waiting for it since December. =A=
I hope that it comes in this week / next week / within Febuary.
There're people on Sony mobile MY's Facebook page saying that it could be coming in next week. So i'm crossing my fingers =w=

Would the magnetic dock be included though like for the first batch of Z1, I wonder.

That's....expensive
Even for the Z1 when it first came out, around lowyat I saw it being sold around rm110?
This was between the first and second batch of course.

Last time I heard they said end of Febuary also.
Hope Sony can speed it up.

Another month more....

I emailed Sony a query about the Z1 compact and it's launch date.
And this is their reply :

"Thank you for contacting the Sony Xperia support centre.


In regards to your enquiry, we have not received any news from Sony HQ when Xperia Z1 Compact will be launch in Malaysia. Please stay tuned to our official website for more information."


=A= Don't tell me they themselves don't know when is it coming to Malaysia???

I'll probably still choose to get it from Sony Centre though.
Depends on what bundle they provide. If it's like Sony SG's bundle, it's not bad an offer.

I hear from Z1's campaign that the bundle wasn't at all nice for Malaysia's.
Especially after first batch finished.
Dealers had to get the dock for Z for customers who's not getting from Sony, which doesn't charge as well according to my friend.

I'm hoping that they'll include that dock and a memory card in the bundle.
Anything else is a bonus (to me).

On Sony MY's Facebook you get people saying it's mid Febuary / early March.
Now it's March / April.

It's dragging later and later with each rumour.

But which is more efficient?
This cable or the dock?

They say you pay for what you get right?

Isn't the dock a usb thing also? Or is it like a normal charger (3 pin plug thing)?

Considering that we can lunge around bigger sized powerbanks than a small dock, bringing the dock around (comparatively) isn't too big a problem right?

It depends on what you need?
I'm waiting for Sony's bundle.

But considering all things, like warranty wise.
Because if it's an AP set, have to go back to the same dealer.
When buy it at Sony, can just go to any Sony centre that's available.

So probably i'm going to wait (getting frustrated thou at the drag) for the official set =3=

Again depends on your usage I guess. I don't like to use my phone while it's charging through wall plug.
Heats it up too fast. Somemore we're advised to not use for calling when charging :3

The dock is a definite buy.
But maybe i'll get that magnetic cable for outside purposes like powerbanks
For on the go, the cable is more suitable yes.

But if we stay put somewhere, the dock is still preferable for me i guess

So directd's bundle is as such.
I just really want to see what Sony has to offer before deciding which to get.

They need to know that they're not the only phone maker.
They're chasing a lot of loyal fans of Sony away, or at least, the market for this model, by being this slow.

It's already the mid of March, at least the sign for pre-order also should be out adi luh, if not the phone itself
