Hi all,

I just noticed my 70-200 vr1, when I tried focusing with cap on (this by default the distance ring will go from infinity to 1.5m and vice versa); it tend to get stuck abit once a while at 1.5m to 1.7m; I have to either move the focus ring abit to "unstuck" it or keep trying to autofocus few times then it will move.
And sometimes, when the distance ring moved from 1.5 to infinity; can hear a soft screeching sound, but I dont hear it from infinity to 1.5m

I dont think the AF motor is faulty as it is quite and fast when i set the lens to limit 2.5m to infinity. But I stand corrected
When I moved the focus ring, noticed it is slightly "rougher" around 1.7m-1.5m

Do I need to send to SC for lubrication? If yes, anyone know how much is it?
