Or you can decide to do the ROM then continue same day straight take pre wedding. After 1 or 2 months when your album is ready, arrange for actual day(jip san leong). No games, no fancy car decor, no wedding gown, no diamond ring. Maybe a bouquet of flower. Go in brides room kneel down give flower, put on ring then kiss. Then tea ceremony, then hop in the car for lunch buffet reception with both side parents and friends. Then go for vacation.

But before you decide, will need to consult your you know who first.

Cheers........

Hi zuhairabakar.

There is really no indication of what is the best value for a ring. Just like you cannot put a price in LOVE.

Easiest way to judge, is by what you can afford. If your fiance knows you well and knows your financial situation well, she is the best person to judge. And what ever price you spent, she will still be happy.

For example, if you are only earning, lets say 1800 a month and only have saving at about 3k in your saving account, and you bought a ring for her that cost 1799 you are actually using almost 100% of your salary and Around 35% of your savings. That shows how generous you are. But if you earn 80k a month and have about 1 Million in your saving account and spends 30,000 on a ring for her, you are just using about 37% of your salary and 3% of your savings. Who is more generous? And its also one way to judge whether she understands or care about your financial situation and also to see if she is DUIT minded. One of the many cause of marriage dis-function is money and financial problems.

Just my half cents worth....... Take care bro and congratulations on your marriage..... icon_rolleyes.gif
