If he is single and living alone, that might be another story. He can take the gang vandalising his home or car but he wouldn't forgive himself if anything happened to his family. Why or why we don't have a police line up like in the hollywood movies, where it is anonymous. Our police lineup is face to face.  Witness protection program? You speak up and you will end up being thrown out of a multi storey building. Don't tell me you guys forget already.  I pity the fiance and family.--- EDIT BTW I am not defending this scammer in any way. I am just saying how things work in the real world. I also respect whomever pursue a case until the end.
