Alexis Sanchez will be gone..
Chances of him going to City/BM is 60/40.
Else Arsenal will lose him on a free transfer. £50 million!
A possibility is we might see Aguero going to Chelsea.

@Rafa
There is no shame in playing negative football. The Specialist in Negative Football did it. Even Fergie did it against Mancini''s to avert another 6-1 demolition. City has a sterling record. The Rest will be shelved in Historical Records. |

All the football pundits and cognoscenti including those here in this forum were lauding Chelsea's performance against Messi 's team recently. Heck Chelsea led with the Brazilian national Willian who could have scored more, if those 2 shots that hit the woodwork had gone in, saving Barcelona a shock defeat.
Now those above and Chelsea fans are are deriding Conte's tactics using the same starting team (with the exception of Kante who was replaced by Drinkwater due to sudden illness) against City. 13 Courtois 28 Azpilicueta 27 Christensen 2 Rüdiger 15 Moses 4 Fàbregas (Drinkwaterat 84'minutes) 7 Kanté 3 Alonso 22 Willian 11Pedro (Morata 83'minutes) 10 Hazard Against City Today 13 Courtois 28 Azpilicueta 27 Christensen 2 Rüdiger 15 Moses 4 Fàbregas 6 Drinkwater 3 Alonso 22 Willian Substituted forGiroudat 78'minutes 11 Pedro Substituted forEmersonat 82'minutes 10 E Hazard Substituted forMorataat 90'minutes Go figure why you shouldn't listened to lazy football analysis and by 'FAKE' football pundits. Unbelievable😁You can never make it up.!
Jose Mourihno denigrating our neighbour's Heritage and lauding our recent Historical success Jose praising City success QUOTE So, in seven years with four different managers, once not qualified for Europe, twice out in the group phase, and the best was a quarterfinal. This is football heritage," Mourinho said. Then he listed United’s finishing positions in the last four seasons of the Premier League — seventh, fourth, fifth and sixth. "So, in the last four years the best was fourth. This is football heritage," Mourinho said. "It means that when you start the process, you are here, you are there, or you are there. It is heritage. It’s heritage." In contrast Mourinho cited Man City’s recent record in " which the team won the Premier League twice over the last six years, and surely will do so again this season as it holds a 16-point lead with eight games left." City’s praised by Mourihno |

Jose will not be incorrect if he states 3 PL titles in 7 years.

Actually it feels good " living in the post Fergie era". No FA officials being bullied by Fergie. No added Fergie's time and opponents parking the bus at OT.
Ironical that MU resorts to parking the bus even at OT. Yes now we have Pep' time P.S. Above to illustrate why City is the 5th most valuable football club in the world and will improved further. This post has been edited by CityBluePrint: Mar 20 2018, 02:26 AM |

Aguero - Pure Goal Scorer in His Class. Hope he remains injury free to clinch PL Top Goal Scorer title.
Great assist by our GK for Aguero to score!!! Pep is a Genius with the recent lineup (players with deft and nimble football skills rather than having speed merchants Sane, Sterling, Kyle) against a parked the bus team. He is what Mourihno needs (ala Drogba) for his football philosopy. A compact team that defends well (can't see it now) and counterattacked with a top star goalscorer. Aguero is Top Class. Let's be honest Mourihno/MU can't buy him |

Happy 10th Anniversary.
Since City was bought by our current owner on Sept 1 2008, Our fortunes has soared and our noisy neighbour's stock has plummeted. We have a classy Pep as GOAT manager while our noisy neighbour has bought a noisy classless manager who is disrespected not only by the media but also by his own club and fans. |

How many of you remember Edin Dzeko the Bosnian footballer that played for City and member of Mancini's PL title winner in 2012?
I just want to share with you this whenever I meet my Bosnian friends they are mindful of his exploits and respectful of our Malaysian Peacekeeper's Role in the Bosnian war. Never Give Up!! Here is an excerpt from https://www.theplayerstribune.com/global/ar...ou-are-not-dead "We were dead. That’s all I was thinking while watching that game from the bench. Before the game, we were all thinking Manchester City were champions. We knew QPR were fighting relegation, but we were feeling strong. All we had to do was beat them, and we’d win the Premier League. No one believed we could lose the title. We had everything in our hands. So the game starts and all is quiet, then bang — 39th minute, Zabaleta scores. It’s one–nil at half time. I almost start relaxing, thinking, “We’re almost there.” Then QPR equalise three minutes into the second half. From nowhere. Then they get a man sent off seven minutes later. Then, somehow, they score a second goal. It all happens in 18 minutes. Bang, bang, bang. It was crazy. I remember there was a bit after their second goal where Roberto Mancini was on the sideline, furious with everyone, just shouting “F*** you! Come on! F*** you!” I don’t even know who he was talking to, he was just swearing. I thought we were dead. It was like nobody could handle the pressure. We were all thinking that we’d blown it. After a great season, we were going to lose everything in one game. Eventually, Mancini puts me on, and we keep trying our hardest, but nothing happens. Football is like this sometimes. The ball always finishes outside the post. Eighty-ninth minute, 90th minute … we’re dead. It gets to stoppage time, and I think we get five added minutes. If you play football on your PlayStation and you are losing 2–1 after 91 minutes, you never get the win. It’s finished. Go ahead and try it right now. Impossible. Then, the corner. David Silva took it. I scored that goal — header straight down the middle at 91:20. You can see me scream, “Come on, come on!” to everyone as I’m running back to the centre circle. Still two, three minutes to play. Maybe we’re not dead yet? Then you know the rest. I don’t know how we did it. There was definitely someone from up there who gave us the chance to survive. People ask me all the time about Aguero’s goal, and what it felt like to be on the pitch. To be honest with you, the strongest emotion was just relief. You cannot imagine how relieved I was when that goal went in. We worked the whole season with such a great team and performed so well, and we were a few seconds from losing it all. City’s first title in 44 years, won like that? Crazy. That game showed me that in football and in life, you can never give up. Part of the joy that I get from it is remembering the others who were champions with me. Aguero, Silva, Yaya, Kompany, and of course Mario Balotelli, who was a really good guy. Sometimes the media would kill him for nothing, and I didn’t understand it. It was like he was the main character in a movie — everything good or bad, it was always Mario. But he was such a funny guy, and he was a champion. I was lucky, also, that I had Kolarov and Savić, two guys who grew up in the Balkans like I did. There is a special pride in making it to the Premier League and becoming a champion when you come from where we come from. You have to remember that I was born in Sarajevo in the ’80s. During the war, there were times when I had to stop playing football games in the streets because sirens went off, and we’d have to hide." Well one wonders how much our Malaysian Peacekeeping Forces have contributed indirectly to City's first winning PL title. For sure my Bosnian Friends did appreciate their presence during their civil war. |

Recall Mourihno moaning about City ability to buy great players?
Now Jose moaning that MU can't raid other PL clubs' best players (to win cups or titles ) anymore which helped Ferguson to buy titles and trophies and depriving rivals at the same time. United can pay but can't buy top players anymore Why? Because great players don't think MU is a top club anymore. On the other hand City is a top club and has a top football manager. That's Class! |

QUOTE(CityBluePrint @ Jan 6 2014, 10:42 AM) About time a new thread What a Goal. From all angles!Welcome to Manchester The most important player in City's history A worthwhile 12 mins to get to know our superstar Aquero and reflect on his striking prowess. Especially at the tail end of the video Then you can understand why he is the only ONE, with the special skills & Canny Ability to score highlight goals, that can score at the last min of City's Title Winning Season. The best player in PL right now. Class is Permanent. Why? In 2007 FIFA U20 WC in Canada, I was there to watch Aguero, Angel di Maria, Gerard Pique, Juan Mata, Suarez, Cavani, Pato, Giovanni dos Santos, Altidore, Freddy Adu et al. Suarez team was KO by Altidore's team. Suarez & Cavani couldn't do much. Aguero was the man among the boys winning the Golden ball & Golden Boot of the WC tournament. Literally he bootstrapped the rest of the Argentina team to win the WC with his goals. From all angles & unexpected areas of the pitch. Since then I followed him Now you can understand why my joy overflowed when Aguero came to City. Watched the above video again to appreciate this Prodigy. |
