Hallo /k/ pipu.. I've just got a new kettle (metal based with plastic top) and despite following the instructions and boiling fresh water 3x, before using it still has a horrible tang. When I make tea this seems to smell as well but it is not so noticable with coffee. /k/ Any ideas please?

U're not supposed to drink it the first time you boil.
Boil some water a few times, then pour water in bath tub and bathe lor....
Boil a few times, then only boil for drinking.

try to boiled filtered water for 2 times.. don't ever drink that.. just throw it away or something..
on the 3rd attempt, after boiled, put in a sachet of tea... let it spread.. after 5 mins, again, throw out the water..
