cough + fever are symptoms of catching cold.. most probably is the frequent change of weather.. like nuox said, hot, suddenly cold...

cough, nothing much u can do.. it is a self-limiting disease, means it will cure by itself.. those medication are symptoms reliever only..

fever, if really feel uncomfortable, u can get panadol as it hv anti-pyretic effect, reduce fever..

and keep hydrated, avoid get wet by rain, vitamin c...

if taken for long term (years of years) or over dose...

but better be safe than be sorry.. dont use it if not necessary
