Dear JinYee,

You are really an expert in this field. Thanks to be a consultant for us.

what do you think about E-Excel product? it is a direct sales product where the agents claim that their product are produced naturally. However, my skin is too sensitive and their product is not suitable for my skin.

I'm currently use product from Natorny. I guess you never heard about this name, right? the Natorny beautician also said their products are made from Herbs. last time i used and it is quite effective although it takes time. the product is too expensive, therefore i switch to other brand. then my skin back to worst again. now even though i use Natrony product but yet my skin still very worst. if you never heard about Natorny, i will post the ingredients by tonight or this weekend. so that you can advice whether the product is safe to use or not.

FYI, yesterday only i read this forum and only know the cleanser called Cetaphil. after work, i straight dropped by Guardian and bought a bottle of Cetaphil. Hope that i can see the result very soon. however, i afraid that my skin will be very dry if i only use Cetaphil cleanser and Panoxl on the Acne. Please advice if i need to use any moistruriser.

thanks a lot,

If you awared of my previous posts, I would normally advise new user to apply BP once per two nights. Use Cetaphil to cleanse your face daily, once or twice will do. Then, apply evenly Panoxyl. I am really hoping that NOTS will come back in the market, otherwise we have really limited choice for Benzoyl Peroxide product.

Some of you might find out that I kept on repeating the same saying which is mild cleanser+BP. Well, this is the way that I found most effective to acne sufferers. Though it might not work for a portion of people but it did work wonderfully for those range from severe to mild acne.

I do sincerely hope that this post would help you all. I earn nothing from keep on promoting the products. I am not the ambassador nor marketing staff. Have a nice day.

Life is wonderful. =)

hi jinyee,
I'd like to know about your opinion on retin A.. is it recommended? cos i'm thinking about switching to this after my current tube of panoxyl finished..

this is my face regimen, i'd like your opinion on what I should do and not do..
morning:
1.cleanse with simple regulating exfoliator wash (it doesn't really exfoliate)
2.panoxyl
3.moisturiser (I use aiken tea tree oil lotion, very light)

night:
1. cleanse with za oil cleanser followed by simple cleanser
2. tone with sk2 (sometimes only)
3. panoxyl
4. moisturise (the body shop vit e face mist then aiken moisturiser)

but of course i waited till the item that i put on my face dried before proceed with the next one..

i started on panoxyl and also za oil cleanser 2 weeks ago... my face is less oily but the first week i started using panoxyl the skin on my cheek peels a bit but now ok already..and also less breakouts..

and i also take antibiotics for my pimples..it's called myscoin or something.. this is the 2nd month already.....

thank you..

edited: by the way, you advised that we should only wash our face like 2 times a day but the doctor that i went to told me to wash 4 times a day i.e. morning, noon, evening and night... this i'm confused...
but i only wash my face 2 times la.. morning and night..

FYI, wash twice a day is already sufficient. You should go to visit a dermatologist, rather than a doctor. Otherwise you might seek advice from skin specialist. Its ridiculous to wash face 4 times per day.

Moving from Benzoyl Peroxide to Retin-A, to me, its not advisable. Because since your skin could not even tolerate BP, Retin-A is much more drier than BP, so perhaps your skin will peel again. Anyway, please apply on place that is acne prone.

Please do use a medication for at least 2.5months, otherwise if you keep on changing the products while did not give your skin sufficient time to adapt to the medication, you will end up wasting your skin, risking your skin and wasting money as well.

Please stay put on your current regimen. Lets wait for 6 months down the road, then I will recommend you scrub. Anyway, please do not go for St Ives. scrub, its not as good as it was advertised. It will irritate acne skin.

Go for more branded one instead. Anyway, doesn't mean that expensive one is good one. Bear in mind!

It will helps, instead emu oil will also help, shark liver oil will also help but one thing, it might cause irritation and would you wan to risk your skin for that? Scrutinize on the ingredient because definately they will add in preservatives which this will irritate the skin.

I did not really use Panoxyl before and from others feedback, it is the one and only one 2.5% BP available in the market after the exit of NOTS. Seriously, we do not NOTS. Guys, please send them demanding requests!!!

It does not. Just follow simple and easy method. Cleanse with mild soap, then moisturizer with lite moisturizer, then apply on the counter treatment. Thats all. Perhaps apple cider might work for some, and perhaps some might not works.

I glanced through the Acnacare and their main ingredient would be zinc. Well, zinc is good for the skin but I don't see its effectiveness in dealing with acne on the counter.

Will let you know about the LHE after I read thru.

Cetaphil will return your skin to its regular form, meaning it will let your skin to be itself. Then, your skin will automatically equipped itself with defensive fence to guarded itself skin problem. Actually our skin could deal itself with problem, juz that due to certain problems such as misuse of cosmetic problems, pollutions, and etc stops it from functioning well.

Ya. just exclude moisturizer from your regimen if you don't like. Its not compulsory anyway.

Use the watery one, one color package with a green cap one for the sunscreen.

Dear Jin Yee,

i accidentally bought a Cetachil Moistrurizing Cream which is in pink color. can i use it during day and night time? i feel very sticky when i apply it.

i found one of the thread you replied where we can use Netrogena Oil-free moisture SPF15 during day time. The moisture is in cream type or lotion type? can i apply liquid foundation after applying the moistrurizers?

thanks,

You should have look for the green color one. I did not encourage people to use cream of the daytime and for night time either. Unless you are exposed in an air-conditioned environment because cream is rather thicker and I afraid the reaction that you sweat responded to the cream might create irritation to the skin.

Yes, indeed I did say that Neutrogena Oil-Free SPF15 can be used during daytime. Its a lotion type with a small pump on the top. I believe that Neutrogena (M) is now withdrawing the stocks for several moisturizers and NOTS as well. They said its the management decision.

Yup, you could apply liquid foundation after that. Just wait it to dry completely, then you apply evenly on it.

Have a nice day!
