Hi. JinYee.
Do you think Ultrasonic Facial Massager work at pithole?

thanks...
*
I don't think it works. For pithole, I will recommend collagen injection if you would want to participate in American Idol because it gonna cost you bomb and after the injection, your face will be as smooth as you could even imagine.

Many of the people that I known ( from the upper stream), they went to brazil for this kind of surgery.

thanks

For clinique soap, please provide me the ingredient for further comment. I don't really recommend tea tree oil should you read closely my posts.

Hi jinyee, juz wana make sure, how much of the cetaphil cleanser i should use  each time i wash my face? i'm using the 1 with pump, how many pumps do i need?
*
Normally, for the big bottle, use 2 pumps. It will be sufficient to cleanse your face. If its not enough, you can always use more. By the way, apply the cleanser on your hand and gentle apply it to your face, massage it in circular motion as this will help in getting rid of dirts.

izzit advisable to scrub ur face every two days ar?i dun exactly stick to 1 scrub tube after tube, but currently i'm using "simple".i used to have smooth, acne free skin, then all hell broke loose on my face, and now it's under control again.btw does scrubbing minimize the big pores on my cheeks ar?
p.s:i usually cleanse and put toner but seldom moisturize.is that okay?
*
I don't really recommend scrubbing for skin with acne. Once per a week is okie. If your skin is comfortable with it, then you could maintain it. Scrub did not actually minimize the pores, it just helps to bring out the residues trapped within the pores.

By the way, you mentioned you apply toner, please check whether your toner 1st 3 ingredients include alcohol or not. It will overdry your skin.

Are you taking it? Please refer to the side-effect before you proceed.

hope this can help to decrease my acne breakout...

btw, jinyee may i ask how to combat scar and redness of the skin?
*
Follow the regimen for at least 2.5months, then you will see significant changes on your skin texture. Then, after 9-12 months, you may ask me again how to reduce scar, because you should prevent new acne from forming first before you reduce the scar appreance, right? Otherwise you are filling water into a pail with a hole on the bottom, it will never full.

Your scar is different condition, its not from acne. Try to use Palmer's scar reduction serum, it may help.

I think for scar, collagen is MOST important. Maybe you could purchase consumable collagen, from Total Image.

but i used the Skin Ceutical Retinol 0.5 and it works very well for reducing redness and scar... but the price is very high for a small bottle...so no money to buy oledi....

now try to clear the acne problem before trying scar serum...

Yes, this is the right way.

Greetings everyone.
I have a fair complexion, which makes the acnes/pimples scars on my face more obvious. Plus, mine is categorized as sensitive skin.
Is there a natural way to make the scars 'disappear' instead of applying different types of creams?
Natural way as in changing my diet maybe?
I'm afraid of trying new facial products.
*
As I said, maybe you can try Imedeen, Estime, or Collagen. These products are scientifically proven.

Chlorine. Please avoid that. Its not a good sign. You don't 'peel' your skin that often before the bottom layer of epidermis is not ready.

I'll try out this regimen later. But I have one question to ask, is it safe to use Coppertone(R) Oil Free Sunblock Lotion SPF 15?

=======================================

Coppertone(R) Oil Free Sunlock Lotion is:
* Oil-free and non-greasy so it feels fresh and clean
* Non-comedogenic so it won't clog pores or promote breakouts
* Waterproof for up to 80 minutes
* Effective in blocking damaging UVA and UVB rays
* Hypoallergenic and PABA-Free
* Fragrance-free

Coppertone(R) Oil Free Sunblock Lotion is a light formula that won't clog pores or cause breakouts.  It vanishes quickly, without any greasy residue.  It blocks damaging UVA/UVB rays and provides 15 times your natural protection against sunburn.  Regular use may help defend against sun damage, like skin aging, wrinkling and skin cancer.

Ingredients:
Active Ingredients: Octinoxate, Oxybenzone

Inactive Ingredients: Water, PEG-8, Aluminum Starch Octenylsuccinate, PVP/Eicosene Copolymer, Propylene Glycol, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Triethanolamine, Diazolidinyl Urea, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E Acetate), Aloe Barbadensis Extract, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Disodium EDTA

=============================================

I have bought this few weeks ago, but I seldom use it, wonder I need any makeup remover if I use this sunblock? What about if I use the Cetaphil Moisturizer with SPF, do I need to use any makeup remover? As double cleansing purpose. Thanks a lot.
*
I think its better for you to use Cetaphil SPF for normal usage. You don't need a waterproof sunscreen unless you go to the beach. The higher the SPF, the more likely that the product will clog your pores.

Should you proceed with Cetaphil, you don't need make up remover because its water soluble. Just cleanse it lke usual.

I went to the Guardian at Kotaraya, the one opposite Watson's one... U can get from there...

Or, I bought my latest PanOxly from Guardian Mutiara Complex - Jln Ipoh...
*
=), Great to know that your acne has shown significant changes. Well, you should always stick to BP, why? Because if you stop so soon, you will get new acne because your skin has yet to adapt and switch to its own antibacterial mode. Give it some time. Maybe after 12 months, you can ONLY apply BP on area that acne will more likely to pop-out. After 18 months, I think you should be totally clear.

QUOTE(cocolala @ Feb 12 2007, 10:14 AM)
lately i got big red bumps, not really like a pimple, the beautician said inside are all blood. it might be due to my blood is not clean. would BP helps?
*
Blood not clean? No such thing in science. Okie, ask the beautician, how does acne form? Ask them to clarify. They did not know that besides asking you to use their product.

Your red bumps acne are called nodules. Normally the reason why one has this acne is because they have used INAPPROPRIATE skin products that cause over-sensitivity to the skin.

So, please switch to this regimen should you did not want such condition to persist. Switch as soon as possible. Please ignore what the beauticians said because most of them crap! rclxub.gif

Mild cleanser will help to prevent acne because it cleanses the skin well, letting the skin to act by its own, rather than over depending on chemicals.

You only apply BP to places that are acne prone. You COULD apply to your whole faces but seriously when your skin is ok, would you intend to do additional things on it. There's an idiom in chinese 'hua long dian zhu' if I am not mistaken since my last mandarin classes was 8 years ago.

ZA cleansing oil is actually formulated as same as TISS cleansing oil. Therefore I recommend it. This as well applies to pure & mild because all in all , these products originated from Shiseido.

jinyee,
I have recommend my cousins on my current skincare. however, it didnt suits her well. Works quite slow on her acne. Its about 1 and half month she's using. It did works well on me and quite a number of people. Met a relative of mine on cny, and she's currently using ordinary mild cleanser and sk2 clear lotion, those gel type. Not that AHa thing. And in 3 months she got baby skin. previously she has big acne all over face and reddish. For me, you give useful advices, shall she use SK2 solution too? Im not sure, coz it didnt suits me. She has sensitive skin and acnes mainly of cheeks only. No foreheads and pimples on the cheeks. Not much dermatologist at my place , and she cant afford to go far. SO i was thinking to help ask. Thanks ya jinyee wink.gif
*
Sensitive skin may due to inappropriate usage of skin products. I did not officially deny the effectiveness of SK2 product yet on the other hand I did not recommend it.

My regimen goes to the affordable yet effective way. Some people might see results in shorter time but some might not. There are many reasons. Should you determine to follow this regimen, you should ONLY use the recommended products rather than add-in other complementary products which this is ultimately not good for your skin.

Another thing is that there are so many FAKE Sk2 out there, so please assure that its genuine one as the fake one might make your skin worst.

But in long term, financially, I don't think SK2 is a good solution because neither me or you are fatty rich personnel.

*
For your information, even SK2 stuff will buy the fake SK2 and swap it with the genuine one. Then they resell it or for own used. This happened in KL before. Buy in counter doesn't compromise genuine stock.

Geez.. all this while its been stuck there and never can come out. Im so concern coz she's young about 17. She's using cetaphil cleanser with SK2 clear lotion gel type for oily skin which she bought at the counter. So far.. no red red to her sensitive skin. but she didnt use anything else. I think her problems were hormones eh.. previously were same roaccutane with me but then she stop all pop up. But when i stop my pills, mine still okay. Maybe im old dy. skin tends to gets drier.. geez..

As per stated in previous posts, please do not use items that are not recommended in the regimen as it might not work effectively.

Cetaphil cleanser + BP are the best combination ever after. Please consult her on behalf of this. Thanks!

its a chinese traditional product. see the ingredients..
you're chinese right? u know better than me. wink.gif

Chinese traditional herbs did help in detoxification. However, this does not directly contribute to acne. It might cause other problems as well in the body.

There are many reasons that cause acne. Therefore, concentrating to the exact root of problem is essential to counter the problem.

Products' result vary from one to another. One might has good result but other might not. Therefore this is very subjective depends on individual.

edited: btw i'm using cetaphil oily skin cleanser is it ok with the BP, how about the one my doctor recommended to me? is it ok with the cetaphil oily skin cleanser thanks again... notworthy.gif
*
Cetaphil is recommended to work with BP. Azelaic Acid's function is trying to expedite the disposing of your outer skin layer. Whilst, BP is countering the root problem of acne, killing the P.acne bacteria by releasing more oxygen into the clogged pores.

Somemore, BP is relatively more affordable and easily available. Therefore it is more highly recommended.

Yes, always go for mild soap. For body acne, you can try cetaphil bar soap, though they claimed dove is mild, but it might be overdrying because sodium laureth sulphate is one of the ingredient.

Otherwise you might try simple soap bar.
