QUOTE(cheaziz @ Jul 9 2020, 11:43 AM) Hi guys, I got quoted from halfcut shop RM500 for passenger side mirror. From Lazada you can find even cheaper options around RM3xx but not original and china made, and lots of types too (6/8/4 wires). I would prefer you go for halfcut, ori from car.My 2014 Elantra 1.6 got involved in an accident - the left mirror (passenger side) is broken Can anyone suggest where to get a replacement (except SC lah, too expensive). I don't mind getting from a half-cut shop or a used unit if it's still functioning TQ The halfcut shop actually my old friend, shop in Kepong. QUOTE(Jedi3815 @ Sep 7 2020, 02:17 PM) Bro, i had the somewhat the same problem. Wiggling i assume that's a fishtail feeling? Can you describe more about your wiggling issue? I think its the same as mine. The wiggling more obvious especially when hit bumpy (uneven) roads where got something protruding from flat road surface. Right? Feel like back tyre went off a bit.i notice a "wiggling" and "body scratch" sound everytime i run over a speed bump. I thought it was the absorber, so i went to a service centre, they suggested that it would be the 1) front stabilizer bush and 2) front stabilizer link. they were about to charge me about RM450 for the whole thing (labour as well). So instead i buy the parts at Lazada (total 2 sets of bush and link about RM140), went to a nearby workshop, ask them to install (you can DIY, but i dont dare) and they charge me RM80, so total i spent about RM220 vs the RM450 they want to charge me. If you can still drive your car, and when you hit a speed bump, it still bounces, your absorber should be fine. So maybe pay RM50 for the service centre to check your car, and ask them to give a quote on fixing your car, then go to another workshop try to beat their quoted price. Saves money. I did not yet done any troubleshooting on this since very malas nowadays. Maybe tomorrow will jack up the car and look for the problems. |
