Guys, i owned a 22 month-old 1.6 auto hs elantra, mileage below 70k and i have claimed 2 rear absorbers during my 1st year, and steering rack after that.

Now, i hv my air cond compressor malfunction. The air cond work just fine only that it doesnt blow cool wind. I hv no choice but to leave my car in SC. I dont think anyone can drive in malaysia without air cond especially for city drive.

My question is, is there anyone here encountered such issue?
It is very difficult for me bcoz i need car for my work. I have asked for a courtesy car from SD but the way they answered was quite standard eg "the waiting list is long but we will arrange for you"

Is anyone here got the courtesy car offered by SD? How long its going to wait for the courtesy car? Thanks

Hi guys, elantra handling seems very bad especially when cornering on cement floor in parking? may i know what i can do to improve it? suspension, bigger rim, better tyre, ultra racing bar? btw, mine is 1.8 .

Hi all, I recently service my car last few days ago. I have few question that i would like to ask.
First, Elantra 1.8 normally uses Shell Ultra or HX-7 engine oil?
Second, they told me that the steering have "locking/knocking" sound which i need to change the part inside which cost RM4.xx and labor around RM1xx.xx. Does this happen to other Elantra user as well?

btw new problem arise after service is that my driver side/ right side of the car have screeching sound while driving. Anyone experience before?

For Hyundai service centre, you have to go Hyundai Glenmarie if need any repair, so far they solved few of my problems, and service price is cheapest compare to other service dealers.

For RV, i do not think Elantra RV is that bad, i was told my elantra 1.8 2012 can get 56k to 60K in Jan. That time i asked to trade in for Ioniq.
