Just sharing.
Changed my tyres to Michelin PS3 after 60,000 km with Goodyear NCT 5.
Ride comfort, handling, grip, noise level improved tremendously.
Elantra has been a good car, Michelin tyres make it even better.

I changed to Michelin 3 ST. So much more quiet!!!
And don't always have to pump air pressure as continental.
Change them Asap

Ya, I should have changed earlier, have been 'tahan' the noise and hardness of NCT5.

Hi... What is the different between Michelin PS3 and 3ST? Which one is the best?
*
I think both are equally very good tyre, same price also.
PS3 more grip in cornering.
3ST very quiet, good for easy driving..can only hear your engine, fan, air-cond and wind noise only smile.gif

I have changed to use RON97 petrol recently. After using for half tank, I found that it actually gives my car less power and less mileage, LOL.
Anyone having the same experience? Perhaps will it be better for the second tank? haha
Been using my car for 2 months, so far so good. Had the air-con pipe leak once, but was quickly rectified (from the SA's reaction, I think it's a common issue for them lol)

Self washing the car is not easy, especially cleaning the wind screen and rear screen from inside. The angle is so narrow that my short hand can't reach the end.

Thanks for sharing! I will try RON97 soon smile.gif

This unit overall OK, just the audio sound not good even there is a amplifier in the setting to set.

GPS (IGO)searching/respond time very fast, But cannot download WAZE from google play as the device is not compatible for current Waze version. Others apps all work nicely. WiFI connection also very fast.  thumbup.gif  thumbup.gif

Ya, good buy. I have been considering to install this unit too, but knowing the sound quality is not as good as the original set. So I am still using the AUX to listen to overseas radio broadcast via TuneIn Radio app from my phone. You can try download this app to your HU and enjoy overseas radio broadcast.

When I was younger, modifying cars made me kinda feel better. Now I think the money for modifying cars can be spent on other things.

Elantra is just a city car, either 1.6 or 1.8, it is absolutely not a car to speed especially at corners. Just drive comfortably and safely.

Wishing everybody happy CNY, and drive safely.

The fish tail or swing issue. Any improvement on the new model? It is very annoying. A bit of uneven on the road while you turn will cause you feel like "buang". Even you drive at straight road and run over a patched road will have the same issue. Everytime talked to SA when service my car, the std answer always is "Is like that de lor".... doh.gif
*
Ya, no car is perfect..sure got some minor issue. Depend on how 'demanding' or how 'cincai' you are lor..i just have to appreciate the good points of the car, rather than keep thinking of the minor issue.

This is my 3rd car, last time I willing to spend money to do modification, it will make me feel good for short while only..so this time I did not spend extra money to do modification on my Elantra. It is still a 'ok' everyday driving car.

Out of stock means no more 1.6 current model for sale

Only got 1.8

No more production for current model

Next year got the new AD Elantra biggrin.gif

I really hope Hyundai Msia will bring in the Elantra SR Turbo exactly same as the Australian model, then it will have strong selling point. Normal 1.6 not easy to sell because quite boring.

help help pls pls all sifu sifu,

Can i know the front mirror costing how much in sc and outside.
My screen is crack hit by stone bullet during travel to sgp. cry.gif
my sum insured for screen just 2k.
does it still got balance to do the tinted as well.
bye.gif tqtq

I replaced my windscreen few months ago due to stone crack too.
RM2k is not enough if you do in Hyundai service centre. Around RM2500 include labour and GST, not include tinted.

I am not sure about other windscreen repair shops, always easier to call them up to check price.
