i wan the gps, but if gt reverse camera also nice. The camera is just to c ur distance to the parking line, not for passing cars..

Hi all, I plan to change the head unit for my little Elantra 1.6. Survey through the website and they're few brands available:
1. Hanns (same as the Elantra 1.8)
2. Adayo CE4AP4
3. DLAA
4. Crossfire

Need your comments here, which works well with Elantra 1.6 steering control and original port (usb, aux and etc.), will install reverse camera too..

I'm still looking for advice here..
but I myself is more bias to Adayo as some said its sound quality is slightly better than original 1.8 head units. And crossfire is kinda "cheap" to me, and dunnoe much about DLAA.
As mentioned in my earlier post, Hyundai itself confirmed to me that it will void the hu warranty only, and the rest remains.. since the new hu gt its own warranty, so I dun see any issue.. just new hu is not cheap!
nwadays, no mattar what u changed to the elantra (even plug and play or add on), they will still say, VOID warranty..

Aiyaa, i saw these last time after get car from u.. but till now havent buy.. if im so resourceful, then wont wait ppl to comment about the head units..

Same as mine, considering Cerato and Elantra.. I take Elantra cos of the design (and finally got auto fold mirror) and also SA that is quick in action..
BTW, what is your loan rate? got increase?

So u choose Sport cos of color? Nvr got chance to look at dune grey (or maybe I dint realise it), mine is carbon grey.
I took 1.6 Sport cos the autofold mirror and no need wait long... got change head unit?? hehe...

I guess most choose Elantra cos of that too, and not expensive.. enjoy ur new ride

I guess the HU is ady priced in 93k..
suggest to check the brand of the offered HU, cos cheap HU is just 1k+ and slightly branded is 2k+... The loan is pretty good, is it cos u taking shorter term? If consider same rate, MBB is better cos easier to find branch.

So far I heard 10k is for those who drive often with long distance, those seldom travel far shud use 5k to better care for the car (of cos wallet bleed more).. can anyone verify this?? Haha

What tyres u changed to? Is it quiet type or performance type? Price?

I posted few questions to Hyundai through their website previously, their reply formal reply is that any changes will void warranty for that tempered area only...

Of cos door sound proofing will improve the NVH, but quite expensive to me.. i prefer chnge HU only..

Agreed that Pioneer and Kenwood is better than those China brands, but still, personally don't think my ear can differentiate the difference especially when u're driving (noise from surround)..
Are you using either these two, any comments? Price is above 3k rite?
