Edit: I called them or the 2nd time (after almost 3 weeks), they now only told me that I need to take pics of my car and seats, and email to them so that they can inform HQ to request for the seats provider for appointment!!

Not really, even at low speed (below 40) also can notice..
What is the issue bout high speed? Seldom got to travel so fast in KL.

I installed mine near Nilai, but I guess most car accessories shop has it, just dunnoe available for Elantra or not..

Mine is cheap brand, about RM100 but quite satisfy as it didnt give me extra noise...

I bought mine 2gether with Alteeza at Nilai too, 250 for one complete set (include the boot), but I heard most shops get selling it at 150 for boot and another 150 for interior. The size is bigger than ori and fit nicer but the workmanship of the shop is normal and so do the coil mat's quality, a bit slippery but still okay..

I think there are quite a lot of car accessories shops selling it too, can try ask around... price wont diff a lot... so far I heard got one cheap korean accessories shop near Segambut but nvr try luck there.

Hi all Elantra owners, as you may aware, the stock tyres for Elantra 1.6 is GY NCT5 which I feel a bit noisy. And I see some owners says changing it to a better tyre cn help reduce the sway feel too.

I know sum of u has changed it to XM2, PS3, 3ST, C drive2, advandb and etc. But wish to know, if these tyres really worth the change?

Personally prefer comfort/quiet tyre over performance (seldom got chance to speed over 110kmh, max pun 150kmh in dry, and in wet also wont go above 120kmh also). My budget is below 450 per piece of donut. Anyone good deal for the new tyres or trade in for nct5?

But saw lot bad comments on it, said it's entry level which dont really quiet.. so i wan to get sumthing that much quiet than the current NCT5 with slightly better grip.

U changed the NCT5 tyres after you notice it's not quiet? Mind to pm me the deal you get, trade in and new tyres price?

Noob question here, when changing to new tyre, do they use back the old tubes? do we need new valves? Some ppl say no need do alignment..

I feel its grip is not really good, even brake at speed around 40-60, it need quite a long distance. The selling price of c drive 2 compare to nct 5 is about 20 higher, so im not sure if its really better than it.

Thx for d advice. Yeah,I did receive quotes from few shops and the trade in price for NCT5. It seems even for same tyre, the selling price also can vary by about RM70 each, and that's a lot to me.

BTW, any sifu here got any idea on how GR100, efficientgrip or Primacy 3ST compare to NCT5? Will these quiet tyres perform better than NCT5 (some said it's performance tyre but from the bottom) in terms of dry/wet gripping and shorter braking distance?

Any owners considering the change oso?

U shud look at the official website /latest brochures...u cn take a detaied look at showroom n u wont be able to notice the front sensor..

For owners of sport version, just try use hand knock ur car skirting... Mine will hear sumthg is loose inside for driver side(another side is ok), u wont hear the noise in normal driving but just precaution if sumthg goes wrong with the skirting.. nw get it fixed together with the car seat noise, now no noise ady..
