I don't know if Hazard substitution yesterday was necessary. He play at walking pace biggrin.gif must be due to fatigue.

No sight of KDB yet again, clear indication of him leaving i guess.

Ramires forgot how to play on wing and his recklessness almost caused a break-away few times. But he solid rock at the midfield with Mikel.

Oscar & Willian was my motm.

i wish they give Moyes another two season to bring the best out of the team.

Though, i wonder how many games does Roberto Marnitez need to transform Everton from a mid-table team to a title contender? biggrin.gif

QUOTE(briantwj @ Jan 7 2014, 02:16 PM)
Is a Mata for Rooney swap likely between Moyes and Mourinho?

Every football pundit, armchair expert and diehard expert has been screaming for Moyes and United to find a Paul Scholes replacement.

Mata is the only Scholes-level player who would come to Old Trafford in this January window.

And by Moyes’ own admission, Rooney is at the peak of his powers and is likely to command an asking price right now.

Can the big January move be Mata for Rooney?

sos

So how would u guys react if we do a direct swap involving Mata and Rooney?  icon_idea.gif

Absolutely bull, after JM recent press conference i think he made it clear that he won't let Mata go at any cost except the player himself choose to wanna leave. Then i read Mata blog and follow his intagram, this lad love stamford bridge and love the club and there's no way he will leave us for our rival. He will made it to the world cup whether he is a regular starter at Chelsea or not.

can't resist yo sometime to talk about United although it would be sweeter if the downfall happens during SAF reign biggrin.gif

i don't believe in karma, but those last gasp goals they conceded lately shown that what goes around comes around. next thing you notice, MamulaMoon & radiohead were nowhere to be found in LYN.. kahkahkah

don't forget Rooney might be ready to face us also. Knowing MU, i wont write off their chance against us. the upperhand is our, willian and hazard will play a crucial role in that match.

Matic and Luiz/ Mikel..woot woot.. Ramires technique so poor sometime i can't stand the way he passes and hold the ball.

Lampard can standby as backup for them

When come to select pivot, RAMIRES will be first on JM team sheet, he is indispensable at the moment. Beside his tireless pressing, his pace and willingness to run forward always help add another number when we counter attack. Not to forget he score goal. When against top opponent, JM will also deploy him as RW. He offer so much to the team, the only thing he is lacking is his first touch and i dont expect him to pass like PIRLO or ALONSO.

And dont write off LAMPARD so soon, he always come back stronger, later all become his backup  tongue.gif  laugh.gif

lol..i also don't expecting Rami to Pass ala Beckham one, but at least a decent touch on the ball and precise passing so i don't curse in front of TV every time he lose a ball cheaply.

Not writing off Lamps, but he is also human the aging legs has been catching him. I would prefer his presence in a big match due to his experience, like against Liverpool the other day.

Interesting to see whether Mourinho will start Matic against MU at this weekend... smile.gif

Matic, Rami and Luiz in Midfield? tongue.gif

I still believe Luiz was never JM first choice for MF, though to be fair he did well when being picked. The purchase of Matic means JM has more option now for the back four since the injury of Ivanovic and the possibility of suspension. At this stage, squad's depth is really important.

I hope he can take part against MU to contain Whoever play the no 10 for them

as far as the team able to pull a results, i would not mind seeing some key players on the bench. we are on a winning streak, im afraid if u rotate some key position it will bringimpact to the team momentum. Willian and Hazard has been tremendoua lately, Oscar may deteroriate a bit but still as a whole team they playing well..so if its not break why fix it

don't see mata leaving to rival unless Rooney in return. let's not dwell with the rumor, MU has been linked with all kind of player basically u name it..Fabregas, Tiago, Gundogan, Koke yet they ended up with over priced Fellaini.

seems like MU are desperate to sign Mata, i would hope should Mata have to leave we must take this advantage to squeeze MU pocket kaw2..35mil with Rooney swap or 45 without..but for the sake of Mata, he'd better stayput..

read from soccernet the deal is around 40million pound. That would break United transfer record i presume.

what can i understand from this is, Chelsea won't sell him UNLESS they willing to pay a very premium price or put Rooney as part of the deal. Chelsea has nothing to lose in this deal from business perspective.

albeit it is tough for us fans to accept.

Perhaps it's a panic chase by them. I foreseen Mata hardly strengthen them as I see him in the same mould with Kagawa. The latter seems like a passenger under SAF as well as Moyes hence I don't know how Moyes will utilize Mata implying the deal is on.

Mata not even first 11 choice for Spain world cup squad, why need to concern on world cup place tongue.gif

His personal pride to represent the country?

But like Ichi said before, getting less playing time doesnt mean he wont be picked by Del Bosque. If the boss think he will be a good addition to the team he will got selected cause the boss must ready the possibility of injuries to any of Iniesta, Xavi, Cazorla, Navas or Isco. So why too rush Juan?

yada yada.. i believe each one of us understand the relevance of this transfer. it's indeed beneficial to all party except to the fans.

Juan Mata is just 25, already twice being player of the year for Chelsea. selling it to your biggest rival (used to be) is totally unacceptable to the supporter no matter how nice the club will lay the explanation to us. We're not Arsenal for god sake!

I just pray that there would a major turn around to this saga. feck the world cup, feck the depreciation of his value and feck the playing time. Keep calm and stay at Chelsea!
