Meireles is one of my fav chelsea player too... He had been a very good servant of Chelsea... if we resign him it'll be awesome....

And about the news/rumors on Ballotelli signing with us, it will be a good news for us... But signing super mario will means the departure of Torres.... as I think Chelsea will keep Lukaku.... Eto'o is Mou's favourite....

welcome Matic.... but wait, if he is wearing the number 21 shirt... then could Marin be sold to other club? As I recalled, Marin is number 21

He went on loan.
So no problem can take 21.
Marin did say he prefer staying at spain.
*
I thought on loan player can keep their numbers.... but oh well, if Marin can't break into the first XI at SB then have to wish him luck for his future at Spain...

the most wadafak moment on Blues for me is John Terry's penalty miss against MU at the UCL final.... I was praying... come on JT... come on JT.... one more and we can win it.... then the unthinkable happen... he missed.... wadafak... really wadafak.... sorry for the late night rant

I wonder how terry felt after that miss.
that match nearly kill my heart.

after that it was clear that English player can't take penalties because of the pressure...

This. It was the happiest moment for me as a Chelsea fan. We beat Barca, we beat Barca fair and square, aggregate 3-2, not some away goal rule!
Except for super Lamps. thumbup.gif

as I recalled, the best English player to take the spot kick is Alan Shearer.... his penalties are all awesome and strong... rarely see him missed.... his penalty shooting is kinda like Ballack and Batistuta.... fast and furious....

Anyway, let's hope Matic can cope with the pace of BPL asap.... then he can play along side Rami and unleash the speed engine of Rami thumbup.gif thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

so far good news as Mata will not be sold.... but this also means it's bad for his development as a player and his chances for playing for Spain in the World Cup...

the problem with Mou's formation is he wants to play 2 holding midfielder... If we have one very good DM, then the problem of Mata will be solve.... With two DM, we can only play one number 10 role.... with two wingers bombarding on left and right... if Mata to fit into the system, he should be play as the central midfield behind Oscar as Mata's passes and vision is far superior... Oscar looks tired yesterday... wonder why is that? Maybe Matic can solve this puzzle.... if he is as good as Makelele, then everything will be ok for Mata....

Mou always think from the back first... defence comes first.... and we really adapt the coutner attacking game that Mou's expertise in... most of the time MU's player just grab and foul to prevent the counter attack....

and Rafael should be red-carded

Goodbye Mata... thank you for the service... I still can't believe we are selling such a talented player.... I have a feeling that he'll come back to haunt us next season... but i still can't believe he'll be wearing the red devil's crest on his blue chest...

anyway, as some football analysts said it, Mou is trying to enforce our opponent's squad as we have play United twice this season... United is yet to face Arsenal and MC again... so, Mata might help us win the league by joining United... who knows? Mou's brilliant mind at work here

if that was his actual reason for selling Mata, he might be stupidest person in football ever for thinking short term instead of looking at the bigger picture. Didnt they learn from the RVP sale? from the Sturridge sale?

Decision makers at Chelsea are a joke.
*
Nope.... that is from the football analysts perspective... not necessary Mou's idea... Mou might think that letting Mata go would do him good rather than keeping him in our squad while not playing him... Mata needs more playing time if he wanted to break into Spain squad to play for World Cup 2014.... And Mou is not afraid of selling our player to other teams in the same league.... Mou did comment on this when United refused to sell Rooney to us... so, look at a positive side.... at least Mata will be playing regular football again... He's one of my fav Chelsea player... and he'll always will be.... just wish him all the best.... remember we are Chelsea!

may I know what other club is making transfer request for Mata? as I read from one article, Mata is not suitable for Real and Barca as they too are fully loaded with talented midfielders....

PSG is not making enquiries... what other big clubs are pursuing Mata? Series A is a big no no since they are involve in all sorts of match fixing.... I don't think any mid table teams of any league would afford Mata's price tag...

so, it might be the only reasonable choice at the moment... plus please don't compare RVP's case with Mata... Mata didn't leave because he wants to taste silverware... Mata is full with silverware... he leaves because he loves to play football... RVP is a totally different case...

58 assist 33 goals in 3 seasons. You're saying this isnt a player that could make a big difference? RVP was that type of player. He came to United and was the reason to their title success. Mata could be that next season for United. Look at what Ozil has done Gunners. 1 player can make a huge difference.

Other clubs enquired on Mata during the summer. Why sell now? To United of all people? The team that hardballed us over Rooney the entire summer. What has Chelsea gained from this sale apart from some profit ??
*
Please read my reply correctly... I didn't say to compare their qualities... I would prefer Mata on my team any day compare to RVP... it's their reason to leave the club is different...

RVP is leaving because he couldn't win anything at Arsenal... so does Nasri and Clichy.... they leave because they want to win silverware with other clubs

Mata is leaving because he wanted to play football... he wants more playing time... totally different case (how can u deny a player who would want to play football?)... and if u ask me, he leave in a good way... unlike RVP which was labeled Judas.... in this case I will not call Mata Judas...

and remember, no one player is bigger than the club....

and base on the situation, do you want Mata to rot at the bench and not play? I hate to see him go.... who doesn't? but we need to wish him well too... and remember, this is the second time I said this >>> we are Chelsea

We are not getting anyone. Everton are not selling Barkley, Liverpool are already one up on us for Salah, Shaw doesnt seem likely. We just screwed ourselves over if we pick up injuries. I love this club but it can be real frustrating having to deal with all the comical decisions we make.

Oh i guess I can tear that Mata jersey of mine now. vmad.gif

what size u r wearing? sell that Mata shirt to me... icon_rolleyes.gif

If he wants to play football and get more playing time he can do it at any other club that ISNT in the premier league. We just need to be FIRM with him that we are never going to sell him to any club that is competing with us in the premier league. LOAN him to athletico madrid or Barcelona for all I care. Get all the playing time you want and get into the World Cup. You deserve it. ANYWHERE but United and any other team in the EPL.

You know what I hope he does come back to haunt us next season. Just to teach these idiots making the decisions at Chelsea a lesson. You'd think after the RVP situation they would have figured it out.
*
chill bro... if he did come back to haunt us, then it just shows that he is a quality player.... but we are Chelsea!!! I'm sure we are able to hold our ground when facing MU.

Paging monaco to come in with a 50m pound bid!

or psg...

or..atletico? anyone..? hmm..salah isn't exactly a replacement. have to admit he's going to take time to adapt and stuff so we're actually weaker now. looks quite athletic though this salah.

I dun think Mou will play him immediately as the first XI is looking good now after MU trashing...

I think this is the busiest January transfer for us.... we rarely spend too much on January as I recalled most of the January transfer player will not coop well because of the transition during mid-season....

Yesterday I read Salah will be priced around 8 million pounds.... today it's 11 million pounds.... what happened? Suddenly, the player value increased when involving our club...

I really think we don't need to buy anymore players except LB.... We have a long list of waiting to break into first team youngsters.... Please use them well... if we keep on buying big names, when will our youngsters get the chance to shine? not questioning the management decisions now... but just another perspective that they might have overlooked...

woke up today and Mata is still blue.... thank God for another day...

already mourn, rant, fight and curse for the past few days.

support him as individual..some might some not, wish him a successful season with united?...never.

+1.... I'm sure the player of Mata's quality will prosper in any team... but I dun think Moyes have the ability to bring out the very best of his players... but all this transfer made me thinking.... isn't it wiser to loan Mata out than sell him? If we loan him out, we can recall him when he's ready.... he can have plenty of football time and we can still keep him at Chelsea... haih... I guess it's just too late now isn't it? Mohamed Salah is a pacey player... almost Arjen Robben's mold... didn't fall down easily on tackle... this type of player: pacey and can switch flanks from left to right is Mou's type of player... I can see why we want him
