Nahhh...Chelsea has done nothing wrong in my opinion. The common concensus amongst Liverpool fans is our own fault for not concluding the deal earlier despite following the player for months. Basel wanted a certain sum, Liverpool refused to and Chelsea paid up. Fair game. Besides, an attacking player isn't exactly what Liverpool need right now considering the have the most potent offense in the league bar City. Defense is where needs to be strengthen and injuries are damaging our top 4 hopes.

I do hate Chelsea for selling Mata to the Manures though. Top 4 chase will be as exciting as the title race.

I still don't quite understand why the move for Salah though, I would imagine Chelsea's immediate need would be to replace Mata with a central playmaker to back Oscar up. Yes Hazard and Willian both can play central but I thought they would be more effective using their pace on the flanks.

I thought Chelsea would have preferred to reinvest the Mata funds on a striker (Rooney or Costa).

don't forget, the same 'procedure' was performed on KDB, when dortmund came calling and jose promptly turned them down. KDB was pushed further alright. straight out the door. 

i'm still trying to make sense as to what really happened between those two, and now mata's on the verge of leaving. it would be REALLY interesting to get their accounts of what really happened from day one..
