Ya I know got loading screen

But I rarely get to enjoy the artwork. I load too fast

Use a SLOWER PC. LOL. I just made Loading Screen for fun... I do hope Steam/Valve will approve it(although I don't have any high hopes).
Valve/Steam's main concern is not Loading Screen and most people don't bother with it(this means low profit). So, I don't think they'll approve Standalone Loading Screen submission(they do approve Loading Screen attached together with Hero Item Sets).

i was shocked when my dota 2 become l4d2 ....
and there's an update of 7.5gb ... wtf ==
... wondering if it will mess up my dota 2 file

without knowing i accidentally uninstall dota 2 which i thought the game was l4d2 zzz

and now trying back to dl dota 2 back but steam downloading l4d2 instead....wtf is going on?

There has been an application ID mix up at Valve. If your Steam is logged in and your games are set to auto-update, Source-based games will break. I recommend staying offline until Valve rectifies this issue, or you may end up having to redownload the entire game.

Either that or disable updates. D2 is being recognized as L4D2. If you allow it to update, it'll delete your D2 files and start downloading the files for L4D2.

TL;DR don't update.

L4D2 memang free, Valve gave it away as a free download on Christmas day.

i found a solution
those who has the same issue with me can try
find a friend who doesnt have the problem and it shows dota 2 in their steam account ... use their id to log in from your pc
after that click play and enter the game
quit the game and let steam sync it .... after that log out and log in ur main
now my problem has been fixed

i tried it and it works ... but some said it doesnt work for them
