Hi guys

Help me, today I have received a letter from LHDN.
In the letter it mentioned that I failed to obey rule section 77 akta cukai pendapatan 1967, and referring to year 2009.

That time I was just graduated and working in a local company for 9 months.
Not aware that I will have to declare the personal income tax.
And until now when I read the letter, I just realized that I missed out to declare income tax for year 2009.

My queries are, besides paying the outstanding tax and penalty, what shall I do to get this issue resolve? (possible request for waiver?)
In the letter mentioned that I can appeal within 30 days, however the letter's date is 13 July 2014, and I received this letter on 8 Sep 2014.. Still able to appeal ? sweat.gif

EPF statement only able to retrieve for year 2013 and 2014.

in this case i guess we just need to bring over our EA form 2009 should be enough (based on my colleague information).

6. You will receive a letter in a couple of days time in your letter box.

Try to avoid Friday as there is a mosque nearby. The traffic is still acceptable though if you are there early. LHDN operation hour is at 7.30am - 5pm from Monday to Friday.

In year 2009, i have worked for 2 companies, company B has reverted the EA form to me, and i just rang company A to chase up the process.

So the required documents for appeal, is the original + Photocopy BE form, and photocopy EA form right ?

I just rang the LHDN customer service, the lady told me to post the EA form and BE form to Bangi, because that site is procession centre.

She said if I visit the jalan duta branch, they cannot process anything for me, everything need to be processed by Bangi branch first before visiting other branches. blush.gif

so just bring the EA form 2009 + BE form 2009 and walk in to the menara olympia branch, then they able to process for us right ?

Hello to all experts.

I just get the EA form from my ex-company, in year 2009, i have worked in the company for 9 months.

However the figure of item B is not that accurate, as my monthly salary is about 2.8k.

will LHDN questioning about the why the PCB is deducted a lot from the 10,942.80 ?

I have checked with my ex-company HR, however the person doesn't say anything about it, just mentioned this is the total figure from Jan to Dec.
