Hi expert. Would like to ask about the BE form.
for last year, Jan-Marc I join company A and then April-Dec I join company B. What should I put under the No. Majikan? If I put company B, does it means that I just need to declare my income and pcb under company B?

you put company B (latest employment as at 31/12/2013), and also all your income, including from company A.

this is income tax, which is to tax all your income for the year.

wta, juz notice the IRB cheque refund had a sentence of 'Laku dalam tempoh tiga bulan dari tarikh'.
does this means the cheque is void if its not bank-in within 3 mths from the date of cheque issue?
which department i need to find for re-issue of the cheque?
tqvm.

wow, you got your refund cheque already? so fast?

Actually, I have a question for any unofficial tax advisers here and hope you can help shed a light.

My wife's EA form stated that her company trip's cost for food and tourist passes (excluding air fare and accommodation) is under the taxable item. Is this true? Is that legal?

My company trip's all costs are not reflected on mine, but it seems weird that her's is. We are working in different companies.

Any thoughts? thanks.

My personal opinion is that your wife company HR is treating those as fixed recurring allowance.

How frequent is your wife company trip?

This is like an annual trip for staff to celebrate together.
Would this be taxable?
