Hi guys,

I know we can claim medical expenses for our parents for RM5000, my father has admitted to private hospital for few months last year, it is over RM5000+ but that receipt paid under my sister's name because she has credit card to pay first, and I returned the money to her with cash.

The problem is the receipt has written my sister's name as payer, so can I use that receipt to claim this tax relief?

Thanks guys.

Yeah, last year I don't have the credit card yet and carrying that much money around to hospital is very uncomfortable.

Well I guess I did learned a lesson. sad.gif

Thanks anyways smile.gif

Hi,

About the supplier's invoice, I am doing online business, some of my suppliers' invoice don't even have theirs name or company on theirs invoice, is that okay?

Some are bought from ebay, can I use paypal as receipt/invoice?

Some of the invoices are written on the basic receipt which you could buy it at supermarket, is that okay too?

Hopefully someone could help me with this.

Thank you very much for your help.

Thanks

If your biz is Sole Proprietor , just keep those "white receipt" as proof if LHDN officers wanted to audit your ac.

Usually SP is not as strict as a Sdn Bhd type of reporting.

Infact LHDN will be happy that you declared your biz via e Filling and not running away from declaring your income which most ppl did.

Yes, my biz is Sole Proprietor.

That is great to hear that because I really have many of those receipts from my suppliers tongue.gif

Yes I have decided to declared it via e-filling, no, I won't run away because I want to buy property, so I will have to declaring it rclxms.gif

Thanks anyways, you are the best thumbup.gif
