guys i noticed that you can pay taxes to lhdn by installment using maybank2u, cimbclicks etc, we can decide to choose the number of installments we wish to make ? 6 months, 1 year etc without any penalties ?

ok so anyone can just do installments to lhdn and decide how long it has to be ? Cos I read some ppl said that if you exceeded the 30 days after you submit you have to pay penalties so when you pay installment obviously it will be monthly so exceeded the due date.

Sorry, this is my mistake.

I misread and I thought that you wanted to make payment for insufficient tax payment deducted from PCB.

I retract my statement.

well in a way it is insufficient tax payment as have to pay extra to lhdn when performing the e-filing so just wondering what's the mechanism to decide how long the installment to be and whether are there any penalties instead of just one lump sum transfer
