Might not be logical for you but it certainly is logical to Schalke. Seems like we want the player but Schalke is reluctant.

Draxler is perhaps one of the first names on their teamsheet and you don't simply let one of those go without having a replacement. Plus its the middle of the season and their fighting for a Champions League spot. Moreover their replacement, Sidney Sam will only arrive in the summer.

Its like us selling RVP to United mid way through the season instead of end of the season. Would you have approved of that?

Wouldn't it be funny if this goes on to deadline day and Jose pulls the plug on the transfer at the last min like he did with Ba? Their heads would literally explode.
