so giroud is out, nik ben is out, poldi can't play as good in the center, walcott is out for 6 freakin months, we have some money, spend it on a great striker, win the league.

i only follow the EPL, who knows of a striker who's playing really well but is playing for a team with goals lesser than us? our realistic target for this season is the EPL, UCL is a tough competition and we have bad history with it, and we drew freakin bayern.

would diego costa consider Arsenal an upgrade from Atletico? i dont think so, in the spanish la liga he leads his team against two other teams that is led by cristiano ronaldo and lionel messi, if he manages to achieve something with atleti this season he'll consider that a victory against the two great players. of course if he's with us he'll be against 2 teams that are led by luis suarez and sergio aguero, very good players too. if we are making a successful bid for him i think it will ultimately come down to the Arsene Wenger factor, the Mesut Ozil factor and the $$$ factor.

are there any other good strikers in other leagues apart from jackson martinez? wilfried bony is a disappointment considering he was a league top scorer last season

i'd rather klose than berbatov. klose is a great finisher, german, linked up with podolski before. out of all the budget strikers i like this the best.

chill... gnabry's reputation with us now is as high as jack wilshere of 2 years ago. which means we won't sell him for any price. it's not like there's no german players here anyway. lieutenant serge is going nowhere.

heard we'll go for draxler next summer, and focus on a striker this winter

which only makes sense, the injury of walcott and doubt on bendtner/giroud only makes it the number one priority of the club to get a striker

arsene has stated that ox's future is in the middle. he thinks oxlade plays best in the position that aaron plays. personally i dont think he should be restricted to the middle as he still has pace to burn defenders. i think he's best used as a versatile midfielder. iinm mertesacker also commented on oxlade's improved finishing. can't wait for him to be back

it would be symbolic if eduardo returns and helps us win the league, something he was on course of doing with us until he suffered that leg break.

but i cant see him return. unlike pato, he's old and arguably past his prime. would i rate him above nik ben? i dont think so.

lol poldi was pissed when he wasnt brought on. good to see, the germans we have in this team are exceptional.

we dont actually have a slim squad, the depth of our midfield is tremendous. bar giroud i think we have pretty good covers for every position

the draxler rumours are picking up speed. i'm not sure what to feel with this transfer, if we do go for him it means no striker is available in this window, and wenger plans to convert someone into a striker. maybe poldi will feature more in ST, or we'll try out the false 9 formation.
