Developers has tripled or quadrupled already. And all the apps you want as i've said already has an alternative which are better than the original ones. LOL! No way are updates slower than Android. Updates all across all WP devices are fast now, a week or so only compared to Android which depends on the phone type and might takes months and months of waiting. iOS still the best when it comes to fast update. Like i've said already after the success of 920 things has changed dramatically. A lot of developers already have and WP now like old Android. Where first it come to iOS and Android and a few week time comes to WP. RT is totally different and has nothing to do with WP at all except for UI design.

Mind set needs to change for someone who probably never use WP at all, someone like you. Base on what you are saying is what is of the past, 2 years ago. And already mentioned all useful apps you have we have it too. Like YNAB there is already something similar on WP Store but less popular. Yeah bro same OS can be in a form of phatlet, tablet and phones. Doesn't mean it has to be on a phone only. Android, iOS has tablets too. Same goes to your game purchases are half of those you haven't played bro. My cash, I do what I want with it just like you collecting games.

Just to add to the phone discussion. I think Windows Phone as an ecosystem is doomed to fail unless it's propped up like Blackberry's Enterprise ecosystem. That is also in the brink of failing (or already fallen depending on whom you're asking). The problem with Windows Phone is that it doesn't have a self-renewing ecosystem like Android or iOS is based upon. Android with its openess as well as tonnes of developer enthusiasm. iOS with its branding. Windows Phone is just Windows Phone. Adding to it the Nokia brand might save it some but Nokia is also looking into Android. If Nokia + Android proves itself to be popular, God knows what Nokia will do (though it's fate is tied to Microsoft's since they bought Nokia).

Talking about Windows Phone's app ecosystem, the number of apps is small and app updates are few and far between. Yes, OS updates are always pretty recent though it is all for naught if apps aren't updated as often or get shitty half baked updates i.e. the official Facebook/Twitter etc. Windows Phone is also not a leading platform for mobile gaming which deters game companies from investing a lot to it. If game companies aren't investing in it, why would other apps want to invest in it? The profits aren't there.
