Just wondering, is YNAB that good in managing personal finance?

No personal experiences yet (start later tonight) but the reviews are quite good from what I can find. I think some of the kaki here uses it also, hope that it is easy to use else doh.gif

YNAB 3 helped me start from RM500 and it became RM3000+ in a year of savings (as a student) icon_idea.gif I only get like a few hundred a month so yeah, it works thumbup.gif I bought YNAB 4 for the mobile app functionality so I can update it on the go instead of just jotting what I spend down and then updating it when I get home. Budgeting really helps and knowing how much you spend on what category really helps to rein in your overspending and bad spending habits.

Anyone has the list of Amazon Editor's choice? I can't access CAG forum and the word 'game' seems to be filtered as well. I saw Brothers at USD5.99, my $5 voucher looks awesome now.

You can't look it up day by day but it lists all the dates in the particular month so you can view it yourself (according to accounts: bank/cash/whatever you have) and you can categorize each transaction according to a budget category (food/travel/whatever). Everything can be customized except for the headers (Date/Payee/Category/Memo/Outflow/Inflow). Like for example I spent RM50.80 of my food budget for the month (RM300) so I only have RM249.20 left to spend for the month cry.gif

They have a free demo you can try out to see if it's your thing.

Nah, don't go MYOB - too expensive for personal usage unless you doing SOHO or something like that. I bought YNAB as well, thought it would be good to be tracking expenses before I ended at year end with almost empty bank account again hahaha.

Even more important with a baby coming along. Extra expenses to budget for.
